The slide method for jab xx elec is lp mp lp mp hp.
That’s how T SRAI does it, and everyone else, basically (since piano’ing it is much harder compared to other characters).
Otherwise, stick to mashing it out of hit confirms, jump-ins, dashes, hops, and whiffed rolls.

I’m surprised you guys haven’t got this one up yet. I was a blanka hater, but seeing this gave me some respect to the lame blanka.

DAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMN. That first match was Just. TOO. SWEET. In my own personal Theory Fighter I had envisioned the concept of the Blanka “Reed Of Defense” technique where he avoids every hit possible instead of blocking (Think the Landlord from Kung Fu Hustle). This is the first time ever I saw it actually being utilized. Amazing.
how do you guys feel about gootecks’ assessment that blanka only works being played lame?
A majority of the cast only work when they’re played lame. Blanka is one of the kings of lameness. Not as bad as Guile/Honda, but he’s up there.
For me, the way my opponent plays determines how I play. eg. If I see Ryu doesn’t want to engage me at footsie range then I just lame him out, punish mistimed FBs, and anti-air jumpins. Otherwise I’ll be more aggressive with my pokes, and will try to score a jump in.
depends on opponent. You rush sim down. You can also rush abel down. Same with chun if she has no meter.
but most characters have fast c.LP c.LK so u usually just zone them.
I agree. Foxisquick rushed me the fuck down the other day with his Blanka and made me look like a 1-day scrub.
