$1300 will get me a decent supergun setup, or I can buy the VLX Premium that Arcadeshock has and buy a EZMod kit for it, save my self about half of what he’s asking for that.
Thanks.
Spent my bday hosting a free tournament for SamSho, KoF14, MK11, SC6, and VSav.

Ok. I’ve had enough. I’m with @freedomgundam. How do we send up the chain a forum feature request?
We need block/ignore/mute. Yesterday.
We just need to stop replying.
I kind of want to stop replying, but I don’t want some future poor soul to come across his threads via a Google search and think that he might have some sort of basis in his long-winded, convoluted, posts.
I just want to make sure that the facts are straight for future generations of SRK’ers.
I am not worried about that as none of those threads are coherent, they wander off topic, difficult to keep track of, and most people would give up reading the HUGE MULTIPLE PARAGRAPHS that say nothing.
But we don’t though…and we are all guilty of it.
I get it though. Tech Talk is tumbleweed city these days, so we all are eager for new posts. I’ve got way too many gifs on deck to share.
But that dude doesn’t want feedback. He just wants to type…
and type…
and type.
The quicker those threads collect cobwebs, the happier the internet will be.
I think it’s OCD. I was going through a rough time a while ago when I couldn’t manage my OCD well and started to fixate on arcade stick internals, then dual modding theory as a coping mechanism. The holy grail of a “perfect” arcade stick. IMO don’t indulge the compulsion, it does more harm than good.
Re: Tumbleweed city, seems like the modding scene has run out of rope this console generation. Fightstick Fridays are dead in twitter. It might pick up again next generation.
Thinking that may be the case too.
It’s been slow since the decision was made to keep the forums in place in January. All the main people save a few have moved off to other places. Everyone first tried Discord out, then moved to Facebook. Ever since then, the readership and people who regularly post have been split.
An interesting project might be preservation of the technical data and knowledge on here - dual mods, PCB info, even stuff like the kinds of screws used. Is the Wiki on here open for people to register and edit? Would be cool also to have a gallery of sticks people have posted in customs and stuff. If the Wiki is a useful modding resource, it’ll feed back to the forum.
What wiki?
Might as well put up our own wiki if that’s what you want to do.
I live in the kaimana thread since its my little home, but Ive been hanging out in the RASC facebook since its a chill place.
Select stores in Japan are selling the REVISED Seimitsu LS-40 “OMRON” restrictor gate (the old/classic one being then the “PANASONIC” model).
Notice the gate edges have cutouts but more importantly the restriction is modified in such a way that the rounded square’s corner radius appears to be much smaller and the overall shape more angular as a result giving access to more throw for diagonal inputs, probably to make up for the imbalance created by the new omron switches with hinge levers bent at a specific angle ( bent to mimic partially the pretravel of the older panasonic switches).
I don’t know how I should feel about this development
that is definitely interesting …
