Best Ultimate Tech Talk Hang Out Loud Edition Season V

Has anyone actually tried using an LS-64 on a padhacked 360 pad? Also, what the heck would you need analog for? Fighting games and shmup require precise digital control, not analog.

He wants it for Call of Duty.

my friend onnly has one hand so i am makeing him a wireless 360 controller the size of a fight stick basicly. so that he can use all the buttons.

Hmm… how much does shipping from Japan to the Philippines cost for large items (that may or may not include 2 LS-32s)?

EDIT:
Never mind, it’s a $125 flat rate for International Shipping which is way beyond my budget.

I soldered to an old pad before (don“t remember what it was) but really it has a throw of about 1 kilometer so if you could control Dhalsim“s legs it would be great haha.

You can see it in a video I posted long ago:

my dream stick is almost complete

all white. no artwork, no complicated designs. no nothing. just white. all seimitsu

I painted the metal plate itself white. what else was I gonna do, lami-label a plain sheet of paper?

still have to put it all together. letting it dry.

ls-56 with bat top and octo gate for american feel. but will try ball top and square gate first

PS-14-GN buttons. 2 with solid plunger, 6 with clear plunger. I can’t feel the difference but i’ve been told that clear plunger GNs feel mushy and not as good.

decided to get seimitsu buttons instead of sanwa because sanwas are much too sensitive for my tastes. same for the joystick. they are excellent parts but i prefer stiff parts

oh and here is paint i used

vvv I saw your thread. But i had no idea what to say :<

Man, I got absolutely no love on my LS-40 mounting question thread. At this rate I may just put in a tighter spring and round out the gate and call it a day. I really don’t feel like drilling new holes and filling the old ones right now.

Have you ever made a stick so nice, so clean that you don’t even want to play on it?

And now for something completely different, I’m now officially 30 years and 1 day old.

d3v, u old!

Why d3v?
Why do you have to age?

At d3v

30 is the new 20!!!

Awesome. Then I just turned 21.

Damn son, you’re just a little kid! is 30 years, 3 months, and 10 days old

@56K-: I know what you mean, brother. I gave my case an automotive paint job just before EVO, and I pulled it in and out of its bag so much at the tourney that it’s already scratched and peeling in some places. Pisses me off. -_-

I feel young, Dont turn 18 until September.

Speaking of EVO, Daigo signed my MVC TE but the signature is rubbing off :(. Good thing I had my bag and the back of my iPhone signed :D.

I believe this is the right place to ask this if not, I apologize ahead of time, but how does the tension compare to from an LS-55 to an LS-56; LS-56? Im about to do the spring mod on the same MVC TE and switch to an Octo-gate. Maybe I should also order another JLF spring…

Dude go with this from Ben Heckendorn. It is better designed for one handers. It will end up being cheaper than getting two of those LS-64s and work better.

hmm i might go with that. or i might just still some of the ideas. lol cause youve gotta personalize things. i have been going over ideas. i think it will end up with 3 sticks on it. 2 analog 1 sanwa jlf i am going to go small buttons and with some kind of weird layout. i porbly wont go ls-64 might try ultrastik 360. but i might try for something small a lot like the analog sticks that come on the 360 controller. cause he can use his nub for a lot of things.

Because I’m like fine wine…

Well excuuuuse me grandpa.

Deleted segment from Ian Cofino’s I GOT NEXT Documentary on the fighting game scene/culture.
