Yeah, I think I want to go with DB25 anyway… if I go with 15 I lose a few signals… now I just need to hunt down some serial cable… I’ve gotta have some around here.
Serial is a blanket statement, it can be 9 or 25 or whatever else.

On the topic of project boxes, has anyone ever made a stick where instead of having a cable to connect to the project box, the box docked to the stick instead?
You could do it. I kind of did it with my Saturn pad while it was still roughly in the works, and before I got my cable in the mail
I had a friend who wanted to make a project box stick that essentially had the project boxes plug into it internally. I thought it’d be an awesome project, but he didn’t have the money to back it up. :sad:
So just have the DB-25 connectors (male and female) on the box and stick? Seems like it’d be kinda bulky and a pain to play with…
I’m pretty sure that with a bit of ingenuity, you could get it down to sub VLX size.

Met my friend coming in from school for Thanksgiving, taking some back roads home, hit a stop sign, go to accelerate from the stop car won’t go above 15mph, pull my car over.
Go to start my car after inspecting my engine, and the engine just starts to shake, violently. Just got it towed to my mechanic, I hope it doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg, but I have no idea what could possibly be wrong with it.
Make and model? Also did you hit the undercarriage of the car on anything as this sounds like a problem I had with my old car where I scraped a hole in the catalytic converter (I think that’s what the problem was) and it cost a lot to fix it.

(not haha… more ‘coincidental’) I’m in central PA (been here my whole life) and i’m going to the ATL in a couple of weeks to visit the inlaws (with the wife and our new kid, his first time visiting them!) and i too am looking for a possible job there (however, graphic design type stuff for me, not tech).
