I think this is the right place to post this:

Alright, iā€™m in a bit of a panic. I let a co-worker use my fightstick today and somehow the Kicks x 3 button got stuck. I took the top off and fixed the button, but when i put it back together, the down on the stick stopped working. I took it apart and reseated the cables connecting the stick to the PCB but it still doesnā€™t work.

The switch still clicks when i press down. Thereā€™s a possibility of a static discharge which is what iā€™m most concerned about. I would have thought that more would be affected though and not just a single direction.

Any thoughts or advice?

Did you check the switch on the turbo panel to make sure the stick isnā€™t set to RS?

It is set to DP.

If it was a static shock issue, it would brick this thing right? Not just take out a single direction on the stick right?

Is the wiring harness on the joystick on all the way? It may not be making a proper connection.

I have reseated the connectors on both ends, still nothing. Itā€™s so strange.

Maybe i could get my friends TE over here and swap out the switch boards and see if that makes any difference.

I think I was just really stressed out yesterdayā€¦ youā€™re right, I can definitely do this.
Iā€™d rather replace the fuses, I know I can just bypass themā€¦ but iā€™d feel a lot safer with them there.
