360 controller. The dipped analogue sticks help execution no end.
More practice! I mean I play I-No on pad and some of her combos can involve 6 or 7 360’s in them.
This opinion is so wrong that I want to start a pointless internet war with you just to show you how WRONG you are.
Although seriously, Ascii Pad FT’s aren’t that great because of its durability. I broke one of the interior tabs of the D-pad after heavy Marvel vs Capcom 2 use, rendering the controller useless. Saturn D-pad all the way.
lol all pads break when you use them for fighting games. sticks break too.
yeah but you’ll end up with nasty blisters all over your thumb
does anyone know when the street fighter IV fightpad will be sold in stores? amazon says 2/20, gamestop says 2/10… and the capcom store shows 2/17
stay on topic. just cuz you’re black doesn’t give you the right to say the “N” word. if it offends other people, please refrain from using. respect other members. that goes for you too ministry. you actually started by calling another member “retarded”, as a marine, you’re the one who should be showing class. SK is in the marines.
but all in all, thank you for bringing this to my attention. both of you, just drop it and get back on topic. thank you =)

An excellent pad for the GC.
Anyway, the Microsoft Sidewinder with the Saturn style buttons. It also came with dual-analog with box-style movement, responds especially well for Melty, and despite the one button look of the pad, it rolls with your thumb. You can even trade formats so the analog acts like a eight-way.
Though I only have the one with the flight d-pad at the moment. The analog works just as good, but both were discontinued.
that is pretty cool, but its still got a shitty layout.
did you really need to quote that? I already said it, get back on topic.
The best pads are the ones inside arcade sticks lawl
Honestly, I’m really eager to see how these Street Fighter IV Fightpad’s work. Apparently inspired by the Saturn Controller? I find it hard to believe… still, if it really is that simple, and designed with fighters in mind, why is it 40 dollars?
Now we all know it’s going to make money and all, but in the end is a controller with a decent pad with no analog sticks (meaning, it won’t play anything other than fighters and 2d platformers) be really worth the pricetag?
It just sounds like they are taking advantage of a niche market. I don’t know, these pads have to be something else I would think to be honest. I’ve been looking for a controller like the Saturn pad for the 360 for some time, since it’s considered one of the best ever made.
What a turning point this will be for Mad Catz if this does well.
lol, that got awesome really fast.
Quite honestly, given my past experiences, I’m terrified of anything mad catz. I’m going to wait for the reviews on the fight pad to be in first.
Well, since it’s a niche market, demand will be lower and therefore, I guess, prices go up to compensate?
if pryde gives you a fucking warning, fucking check yourself
next time mofos are catching bans
Everything I’ve tried from madcatz has been garbage - except the Dreamcast Dreampad… I liked it a lot… although I guess it received mixed reviews… especially the d-pad. But to me it felt super-responsive and I could do moves with circular motions better than probably anything I’ve used since. shrugs

Mine looked just like that - which is a later make. I’ve heard that the later make may have been better than the early makes - but I dunno for sure.
6 face buttons and the controller was just bigger altogether so my hands didn’t cramp like with the regular Dreamcast controller. Anyway, I guess thats my fave.
Providing they work well, I’ll be really glad when the new fight pads come out. Its been hell using the 360 pad and just thinking about having to use it for even more upcoming fighting games just gives me a headache.
Hey that’s what I use, for games like CvS2 and Thirdstrike. Works great, although I kept messing up my hitconfirm on rekkas for some reason when I first got it.
I prefer the original DC pad for everything else though. The layout is awesome for marvel IMO.
But overall, I like ASCII stick for the Sega Saturn. Nuff’ said…
