Bayonetta demands Dante (DMC) to make her a sandwich. Patch fix available for PS3!

Something about this game is very disturbing.

It couldn’t have anything to do with stuff like this, right :wgrin:

I didn’t figure out who Claire and Ammy were until just now. RE2 and Ookami!

wow…so how many games has this game has referenced. I want to keep track:

Resident Evil 2 (Clair)
Okami(ammy)
Resident Evil 4(Whadya Buyin)
Devil May Cry 1(Flock off featherface and one of her climax Demons look totally like the phantom).

So any tips for getting a good combo score on Fortitudo? I just fight him around 3 times and my combo score on him got progressively worse despite my feeling I had done better each time. Any thoughts from someones whose Platinumed him would be helpful.

Wow…that fight ending between Bayonetta and Jeanne reminded me of God hand vs Devil Hand.

Just finished Hard mode. Fuck the tower of truth and fuck that stupid ass ball. Time for non stop climax mode.

lol yea pretty much

Has anyone tried the ? I tried doing it for about five minutes and I couldn’t get it work at all.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, the glitch is from the JP version; it could have been fixed in the US version. Anyone try it?

It was a nonstop thrill-ride like the movie critics say. I finished my first trip thru Normal a little while ago, and I’ve already started on Hard mode. I take back what I said earlier… the Joy Seraphims don’t have shit on Grace and Glory. Any moment involving those guys usually ends up being the hardest shit in the whole game. Early on in Hard mode, you have to fight a never-ending stream of them with Jeanne. The only way to finish that segment is get 3 Torture moves. Good luck with that since Jeanne eventually gets to a point where she isn’t much help at all…oh and your magic is GONE each time they hit you…and of course these guys are about 100x faster than any other creature in the game… It’s funny to me how they’re actually tougher than boss characters. So far, I just dodge and hit with 2 or 3 sword swipes, then dodge again, hope and pray Witch time happens(*most likely it won’t), do a very short combo and dodge again, etc.

…Route 666 after the beginning piece annoys the fuck out of me. Just because someone decided it was funny to have the camera on free roam and let cars rape you while you fight 3 gracious and glorious.

I don’t mind gracious and glorious. It’s the damn cars I can’t see coming that annoy me and end up making me continue around 6ish times more than I should.

From what I hear you can do it in the US version as well. I have the Japanese version so I can’t really confirm.

kilgore help

[details=Spoiler] Weapon 1st set - Hands: Any weapon.

  • Legs: Durga.
Weapon 2nd Set - Hands: Any weapon but NOT Durga.
  • Legs: Lt. Col. Kilgore.

Second, ready your 1st set and then perform either one of these combo:

Type A: P -> P -> P -> P -> K
Type B: P -> P -> P -> Delay -> K

When the rapid kicks come out or are about to, switch to your second weapon set and start mashing. You know you did it right when you see a series of missiles being launched during her rapid kick animation.[/details]

Kilgore glitch still works in the US version. If it helps, switch it out after pushing the Kick button or else you’ll just get a regular kick instead of the rapid missle kick.

Where the crap are all the weapons? I got to the end with only the katana, shotguns, and durga. I noticed when i’d finish chapters, there’d be blank spaces in the medals. What’s the trick?

the blank spaces are “hidden verses”

exactly what the name implies

and the you just missed the LPs for the weapons because you didn’t look around.

I’m up to 10 and I have the whip, skates and bazooka

The whip is on stage 2, the skates are on 6 and the bazookas are on 9

Go back and take a look for chests and shit

Is it me or does that sword combo of punch/kick/punch just own everything.

that’s pretty much the best way to clear out those “wicked weave” alheims.

I got 30 hours in this game so far. I just got it Tuesday. So glad this was before class starts.

G n G don’t scare me as much. I haven’t tried Hard yet (I am in very easy (with Gaze of Despair on for some sort of challenge) just dicking around and making some halos) but you basically have to dodge a lot and take the witch time you do get to work just one of them. I like to use the dead one’s claws to pummel the sole living one.

stop right there.

G n G get rather annoying later just for the fact you already can’t witch time them (unless you parry their attacks or some other accesory.) and then put in 2-3 more with just 1 of each and you’ll see how annoying it gets. Add the fact Hard/Infinite climax will rape your health, they can be a problem at times if you’re not ready.

That Moon of Mahalaa or whatever it’s called…it’s every bit as satisfying as I anticipated. I finally got enough halos to buy it a little while ago, so I’ve had fun trying to parry things. It seems like they’re cheating me out of this one achievement though: “Touch and it will REALLY hurt!” I’ve parried 3 consecutive times on at least 3 or 4 occasions on that stage with the first appearance of the flaming angels.(some lowly Applaud chumps). I’ve even tried doing absolutely nothing (no attacks or RT-dodges in between) but parrying 3 times straight but no achievement. I have the other 2 achievements associated with this item though. Perhaps it has to be from 1 enemy, or 3 quick attacks parried…like when the Joys do 3 fast whip attacks.

I’ll have to look up the secret Alheims and other secret shit online or something, because I haven’t found a damn thing…same boat as Stuc here… I finished with just that katana, the guns and Durga, which I still haven’t used before. I’ve seen 2 or 3 of the Alheim locations, and that was it.
