Bayonetta demands Dante (DMC) to make her a sandwich. Patch fix available for PS3!

The gold versions of the G n G are a nightmare. They’re so much worse then the regular one. I’m playing through hard now and i’m worried when i’ll fight them next.

Anyway, i folded and bought Jeanne at the payphone for 1 million halos. I grinded on chapter 11 and racked up around 350k halos each time. Theres no way i’ll be able to clear all verses with a platinum in every chapter any time soon. I haven’t tried her yet, but i’m looking forward to it on a fresh playthrough. Right now, i just want to get through hard mode and try to get the Sai Fon (nunchaku) while i’m at it (finish 100 chapters).

If you guys need help finding Witch Hearts/Moon Pearls/Bonus stages, just check out GameFAQs for guides on those.

Okay so is there a stage select. I haven’t really started on my second run yet, but with the halo farming that leads me to believe that there is a stage select, so how do you access it?

Open the submenu at the chapter start screen (right bumper) and it’s right there.

^ Thanks.

I used taunt alot inbetween witch timing - a full taunt gets you like 5-6 magic bubbles (cant recall off the top of my head)

Holy shit, chapter 14 and the epilogue are epic, worth playing the game just for those fights

Oh and the last video you get after the credits is awesome too… nice moves!

If you’ve beaten the game and unlocked the Handguns, equip them and do the mashy attacks (they give you magic like crazy); Handguns cannot do Wicked Weave attacks so the enemies won’t die as quickly. If you don’t have Handguns, just use the Scarborough Fair or whatever they’re called (default handguns). Also, the Torture Attack has to kill the enemy for it to count.

Only a select few CAPCOM games have ever been given DLC, all the rest end up turning into Special/Limited Editions. I wonder if it’s been long enough or if CAPCOM is even interested in making a SE DMC4? Although, I’m with the rest of you, DMC4 could have been better…maybe I’ll just wait for DMC5.

It’s called a parry counter. It’s like the bat witch time manuever but with parrying. You know you did it right when you parry, go into witch time, and attack all at the same time.

Watch a video for the LP locations. Surprised so many missed the snake their first time. And most hidden verses are just you heading backwards after getting to a point of no return. Like the Broken Sky chapter has three hidden verses. Two are inside the mammoth engine right before Jeanne.

what’s the diff between durga and durga alt?

Durga goes on your hands and Alt go on your feet.

Here is a video showing Alfheim locations 1-12 for those having trouble finding them. Some of the locations are pretty ridiculous so I can see how a lot of people missed them.

Hsypersakura has videos that show how to do all the Alfheim challenges and locations for Broken Witch Hearts, Moon Pearls, Crows, Umbran Tombs and LPs. She is really good.

don’t know if it’s been posted already, good combo vid

I didn’t actually even change my normal equipment for this, basically, I just taunted, used the Action button gun attack, witch time when they attack and to the default Px5 combo with Shuraba, then just stop the combo before the witch weave comes out but after finishing the mashing part.

In retrospect using Scarborough Fair probably woulda been better since it’s probably weaker

Watching DSP play this game is way more entertaining than it has any right to be, especially when he gets mad at not being able to chain shit against stronger-than-early-game opponents with the whip, can’t figure out how to get out of the graveyard for 6 minutes, etc.

Has anyone unlocked the Time Bracelet? What are the specifics on unlocking it? For example, do I need to update my score on each level to unlock it (meaning I have to override my high scores with shit scores and probably shit award)? Or do I just have to beat the game in one sitting within 3 hours?

^ I watched him jump around for 10 minutes trying to get out of that graveyard. Surely nobody is that dumb.

heh… “shit award”. Funny thing to me is that is exactly what that Stone award reminds me of…an award that is actually made of feces, to drive home the point that hey…you really sucked in that stage. Here’s your dookie award. I’m going back for better scores now… heh, I have quite a few of those dookie-stone awards.

*strange how a lot of gamers these days seem to have this aversion to overt sexuality in a game…it’s like there’s some weird issues with shame and denial going on there, and they pretend like it’s “lame”. What, you’d rather see your average girly-man from a random RPG in the role? Sorry, but when I see a dude going on about how it’s lame that a hot piece of female ass striking obviously sexual poses with all kinds of wonderful fanservice outfits… either you’re lying to yourself as a man, or you play for that “other team”.

heh, my pal Dumbass has finally started playing. He doesn’t stand a chance. I’m wondering if he can make it to the first Grace & Glory duo though…it should be quite amusing to see what happens when he meets those guys. It should be like Chaotzu trying to take Nappa back in the day on DBZ…SUCH a lopsided battle there…

I hate “stay in the air for x amount of time” missions. Hated them in DMC, REALLY hate them here.

the whip makes those missions ridiculously easy.
