Yeah I got all platinum on normal and I have half the platinums on hard. What I hate about hard mode is not the actual level but the bonus challenges have increased difficulty as well. I haven’t touched non stop infinite climax yet, but I’m sure it’s a nightmare.

Last time I checked right now they only have 2 360 versions and 3 PS3 versions, but screw the PS3 version!
when you unlock hard mode, do you have to start a new game save and start from scratch?
because i was doing that and got up to chapter 4, its friggin nightmare getting there with just basic weapons and no artifact no nothing.
If I load one of my game saves I can select the chapter I want and just change it to hard mode, I wonder if that will work.
Also i dont understand this thing from a faw about unlockables:
I cleared normal already obviously but i dont see no “super mirror” have you gotten across that item?
oh also farming rings, the best i’ve found is on chapter VI: the gates of paradise, there’s a chest right behind where you start, after the first time you loot it the first time it starts giving you about 5000 rings each time.
so my run is, start chapter, wait for loading, skip cinematic, run back, kill the chest and loot it, and exit to title menu, rinse and repeat. (takes about 45 seconds per run)
if anyone knows anything faster do post.
ok nvm i googled halo farming and you can make like 10 mililon halos in 6 minutes on chapter 11 rofl, im checking into that.
Are you saying that having too many enemies on screen makes the game slow down? I only have a PS3 and I’m extremely hyped for the game, but if gameplay is damaged at all by Sega’s horribleness I’m considering just passing on the game.
I don’t want to nit pick but try not to post 3 times in a row. Just edit your previous post it makes things easier. 
Also don’t post what you unlock without spoiler tags because a lot of people don’t have the game yet. To answer your question, load your game save from normal. When you get to the chapter menu where it says Gates of Hell|Start|Save press R1 which brings up a sub menu. Go to chapter select and pick the difficulty. You can use everything you have unlocked this way!
Slowdowns do effect the game on later difficulties but nothing is too extreme to pass on the game entirely. I say buy it, and you won’t regret it. :clown:
So you’re saying that the PS3 version is unfairly hard in ways the 360 version isn’t.
judging From a wide margin of reviews, the general consensus is that the 360 version is superior to the PS3 version.
360:
1.Crisp, bright, beautiful graphics
2. Tight controls.
Ps3:
- Muddy, less-than sharp textures everywhere.
- Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many load times and slowdowns. Come on, no HDD install?
For me it’s no prob, i got both consoles so i choose the 360 version because i haven’t given’t it any love. For PS3 owners don’t drop this game because its a blatant 360 port. Its a good gem, just a little scuffed up.
So how long is this game?
So far I’m 2 and a half hours into it.
It can be beat in less then 3 hours if you know what you are doing (there’s even an unlockable for it.)

Yeah took me about 14 my first time through. Unlocking everything took much longer though and I still haven’t touched the hardest difficulty yet.

Theres this power you get around stage 6 or 7 or whatever where you can transform into a Panther like Michael Jackson in “Black or White”, and you go super fucking fast and jump pretty damn far. When you know the game well, you can burn through the stage, jumping past obstacles and shit, solve a quick puzzle/fight a closed off encounter, and keep going. The first time I beat Hard mode I actually did it in under 3 hours, just because I wanted to rush through that bitch as fast as I could 
It doesn’t drain meter either, and you can actually cancel it with an attack(that has a cat-claw like shape on top of it). Its a bit of a joke on Okami, one of Hideki Kamiya’s previous masterpieces, with the very similar controls/animations and you leave flower trails with your every step(although they’re withered, dying flowers ^_^)

I just about started fwapping uncontrollably. No wonder this game is getting stupid high scores from everyone with two working hands and a dick.
Took me 5.5 hours or so on hard the first time through in “story” play time, 14 overall. I’ll have to start going through the game again for the platinum medals and other unlockables.
