Bayonetta demands Dante (DMC) to make her a sandwich. Patch fix available for PS3!

Your number 2 point on 360 is not really factual imo. The controls are exactly the same in response time and fluidity. It’s just the slow downs that mess up your timing on PS3 and that’s on the more difficult levels in a few instances only. I agree with all of your other points though.

You unlock Jeane, but you must do this on normal, which I have done. What sucks is you have to play a new game to use her. There are no rewards for doing it on other difficulties but I am doing it anyway.

GoW is good for story narrative and has a nice amount of puzzles. IMO it is geared towards casual players more than the hardcore. I feel it’s Bayonetta>NG2>DMC4>GoW for this current gen action titles. And yes I am basing GoW on a simple demo I played lol, but tbh it won’t be drastically different from other GoW titles.

Just to clear up what Solid Fox said you only have to get Platinum over all on normal to unlock Jeanne. You don’t have to get Pure Platinum at all and you don’t have to Platinum every verse either.

As for me I like that I you have to start a fresh, new game with Jeanne just cause t makes the game last that much longer, not that it’s not long enough but every little bit counts to me.

How the hell are people beating it in 5 hours in the first playthrough?

I’m at like 9 hours now, not done yet, and I’m a fairly adept gamer ._.

edit;

So I’m in some tower, I think near the end, and I’m fighting one of those floating dudes with the tentacle fingers. There’s howitzer on the balcony which I guess I have to hop on and blast 'em, but then he does so stupid nuke attack which does a crapton of damage.

Oye.

You redo the chapters and complete them faster to lower your overall time.

Also to me GOW feels like a much more action oriented Zelda game. To me it’s not an ation game due to heavy use of exploration and puzzle solving and just generally doing a lot of things that don’t involve fighting.

Ah, that makes sense.

God of War is like playing a Winny the Poo game compared to this or Ninja Gaiden. Sure it can be somewhat difficult, but for the most part you can cruise through the game without really breaking much of a sweat. I can die to misc enemies if I’m even slightly off my game, multiple times, in Bayonetta ;_:

Oooo can’t wait.

And no. God of War, despite it’s heavier emphasizes on exploration and puzzles is still very much so an action game. It’s in the same hardcore action game genre as DMC and NG. After playing all three that have been out so far the main thing you’ll be doing at any given moment is kicking someone’s ass.

Well I’m sorry but I just disagree. GOW does not feel like an action game to me. Neither will Darksiders I bet either.

Yeah, GoW is really an adventure game that just happens to have a bunch of combo options.

Alright! I think this is how I’ll experience Bayonetta before I retire from it.
The Four Plays Plan!

1st: Clear Normal with a minimum of Platinum on each chapter. This will unlock Jeane and Hard.
2nd: Clear Hard. This will unlock Hardest.
3rd: Clear Hardest.
4th: Choose a difficulty (Normal, Hard, or Hardest) to work towards an All Pure Platinum run on. During breaks from pulling out hair, I suppose I’ll knock out the “achievements” list.

just farm 5 million halos and enter the codes at the phones in chapter 2, screw platinums on normal, get it over with so you can start playing her, she’s tight.

May I also suggest playing chapter V with Various customes #2, ;p

BTW LUKA is a hilarious character, made me laugh everytime lol

Finally sat down and finished it. I thought the cinematics/storytelling sections with the actual witch/sage plotlines were the low point of the game. Misc cinematics with Bayonetta doing action scenes were cool, same with the comical scenes with Luka. But the little girl, and ESPECIALLY the old man towards the end (who taaaaalks likeee thisss, heee’s sooo slowwww), really got on my nerves :expressionless:

Also, why can’t credits in games be as fun as this?

Time to buckle down, and go for them plats.

DMC3 had a very similar credits ending.

Just finished getting all platinum on hard. Now for the Non Stop Infinite Climax difficulty. Wish me luck…:shake:

What happens in the end credits?

If anything like DMC3 & 4 end credits then people should have nothing to bitch about.

edit: never mind, just read solidfox’s response.

just played the demo, this game is awesome.

As long as shit is Platinum you are good right? Pure Platinum is like the S+ ranking you see in games? So S is still fantastic right?

Pretty much, pure platinum is basically platinum+no damage+hidden acts. Platinum is good enough, I originally intended to get pure platinum on every chapter for at least one difficulty but the game is much harder than I imagined. Honestly, I believe I could do it with the aid of some accessories but I have other games to play as well. Platinum on all difficulties is good enough for me. BTW the trophies in this game are easy.

How long is the game for people that finished this?

Like suck-my-dick-get-them-all-with-your-eyes-closed easy? Another 1000 achievement game for me!

Holy shit…the game shop I frequent got 2 copies of the European release of Bayonetta…I’ll see if I can grab a copy 2morrow X3
Hoepfully the frame rate issue is fixed.

Yeah pretty much, if your getting Bayonetta for trophies and achievements it shouldn’t be too hard.

lol…
