On top of fighting with her hair, having guns on her feet, being able to dropkick enemies into iron maidens and use guillotines, she also wields a katana and can do Rolento’s trip wire super…

I don’t own a next gen console, but if I did, I’d more than likely be picking this up. It looks fairly solid and even if it’s not, it looks like a fun way to kill some time.
The whole hair thing kind of reminds me of Suitengu’s power to control and shape his own blood in Speed Grapher. It seems like it could be an interesting mechanic using something that is basically a part of one’s own body as a weapon and all. I remember reading on IGN I think a few years ago that the creator of DMC said something to the effect of “If I could do it all over again I would have made Dante a girl.” With that in mind I think of Bayonetta as the DMC the creator had always wanted to make.

As soon as more gameplay footage comes out, I want to know about it. Ninety-five percent of the hate I’ve dished out for Bayonetta is a thinly veiled invitation to prove me wrong. All I know is that if I want fanservice, I’ll pop in some Final Fantasy X-2. Fuckin’ love that game.

I’m still not impressed or disgusted either way it has potential and it’s being made by a reliable studio so it’s more likely going to be good then bad but who knows, games like these depend on the combat system and it’ll be tough to meet srk standards.

SRK never fails to bring the dumb. 90% of you were brought here playing a game where the main characters throw FIREBALLS, but somehow, guns on feet are an unrealistic dealbreaker.
