Of course I’m gonna play this on hard. I usually try a playthrough on every difficulty. I didn’t mean to say Hard mode is too hard, though. Phone glitch is for Jeanne. :lovin:
I will try the Kilgore Glitch though, it sounds too crazy to not try. My defense is very good as well; Grace and Glory /Gracious and Glorious pretty much demand one.
Sai Fung and PillowTalk are unlocked through Hard mode right?
neither of those are from hard mode. hard mode gives you the pistols “gazillion” which fire laser beams when charged on the hands and little white lasers when you do a dodge offset, oh and these weird orb things when you charge from the feet, overall a pretty good weapon.
sai fung is unlocked by completing 100 chapters total, pillowtalk is unlocked by beating NSIC.
and speaking of NSIC i just beat it. now i gotta take down the secret boss and angel slayer. the secret boss is f’ing hard though man. and to make him worse every time i get him down to his last bar with a decent amount of health left he uses that grab move and puts my health down to 1 hit kill range… hate hate hate the secret boss -_-;
bout time!
-All Platinums on Normal (Jeanne unlocked)
-NSIC complete (Pillow Talk unlocked)
-Lost Chapter unlocked
-40pts away from 1000/1000 (probably missing merely one or two treasure chests and I need to knock out verse 1 and 2 for Platinum, which will be easy)
I’m going to take another little break from this to start on Mass Effect. After I finish that, I’ll return to Bayonetta to do the following:
+1000
+beat Lost Chapter
+build funds to for Platinum Ticket to fight and defeat Rodin
+100 Chapters (shouldn’t have more than 28 more to go, being that I went through Normal twice, Hard, and NSIC…right? Plus I did some chapters multiple times already.)
+unlock Bracelet of Time (complete Normal or higher in under 3 hours)
+unlock Climax Bracelet (101 Umbran Tears of Blood)
+unlock Immortal Marionette (really wish this run through Easy would count towards 100 Chapters… sheesh!)
+search for remaining hearts and pearls
+beat the game with Jeanne
so i just found out a interesting way to use dodge offset.
well as it turns out you don’t actually have to let the move come out at all to dodge-offset that shit. so for example on the “use wicked weaves” alfheim challenge i would do y, hold b and immediately hit rt to dodge then hit y again for a weave. well by using the dodge to cancel the attack frames you basically skip the second attack altogether, i had a combo held through the entire alfheim without using taunts to keep it going… twas highly usefull.
Yeah, that’s the fun thing about doing Dodge Offset.
My favorite thing to do is actually dodge offset using the Panther Form, as well. I mean, as long as hold that button, the combo is still alive. So if it starts to get hairy, I just run and then unleash the last part when it’s safe. Served me well on Hard and IC.
It’s hard to say how many hours I’ve truly put into the game. There have been quite a few days/nights that I’d just leave the game running while I was off doing whatever. It’s a strange habit I picked up early in this gen.
This morning, I ejected Mass Effect. I like it, but I’m not enjoying it anywhere near as much as I do Bayonetta. I’ve decided to just keep playing Bayonetta until I feel I’ve had enough.
Just got Bayonetta the other day. I played for about 6 hours yesterday, my hands feel like dough. That game really kicked the hell out of me and I stopped @ level 3.
Can’t believe I found a hack n’ slash that’s better than DMC, but I can believe it’s produced by the same guy that created DMC. This game is fucking brutal but so much fun to play.
Why don’t more women walk around like Bayonetta? Hands on your hips, swaying your hips dangerously out of socket, right foot swinging 5-feet past the left foot and viceversa. Mmmm yeah, sexy.
PUT MASS EFFECT BACK IN YOUR CONSOLE. It’s a good game, really. it just takes time getting used too. My wife and I are currently about 32 hours into Mass Effect and I really like it now. For the first 10-15 hours I was meh, but it’s a fun game to play until FF13 comes out. Or when I buy ME2.
People are entitled to their own opinions. Are they still stupid? Hell yeah.
DMC in it’s own right are fantastic games (minus DMC2), but the only way DMC is better is that it’s easier to play. DMD Mode is no joke, but it is when you consider this game.
I disagree, the easily usable and always accessible dodge in Bayo makes this game much easier than DMC3 and 4. Doing combos n shit and staying alive in those games is impossibly hard on DMD. It may or may not be harder to complete the game PERFECTLY, but just completing it on infinite climax is not too bad. Not DMD bad.
DMC3 and 4 have the trickster style which has a dodge with massive invul frames as well. They have Royal Guard to. DMC4s dMD is piss easy but 3s is really hard in my opinion mainly because of Bullshit match ups (Like Hell Vanguards and Soul Eaters. Fuck you Capcom) and the fights taking sooooo loooong i got bored and started making mistakes.
