Yeah, but you can’t use dodge ANY TIME you want to like in Bayonetta. Literally no matter what you are doing you can always dodge in Bayo, that alone makes it one of, if not the, most powerful mechanics in the game
I really fuckin need to buy that asap. I am not jumping on this ish like I should be.
bayo may make dmc4 seem easy, but it has nothing on dmc3.
for one thing having either the dodge or the royal guard forced you to give up other things (like the awesome air combo’s from swordmaster) where as bayo you get all of that and until NSIC you can slow down time to do a combo however you like.
both games are great, but to say that bayo makes dmc3 look like a joke is a stretch.
I need to go ahead and get one last hoorah out of Bayonetta before GoWIII drops.
Because then its really a wrap on that ass.
GoW3 looks tight, but it aint ******* with Bayonetta.
My top beat’em ups:
Bayonetta and God Hand tied for best
DMC3
GOW2
GOW1
DMC4
I doubt it will touch Bayonetta in term of gameplay mechanics but I’m pretty sure it will trump everything else.
Best believe it will. Remember which game the guys at Platinum Games were inspired by…
Like 4 left!
They are already selling it on ebay for $98, and people are actually paying that price!
MADNESS!!!
Not the DMC as a whole, just the difficulty factor.
I just bought a hardcover copy, new, off Amazon for $20. Nice.
yeah same
I completely forgot about the guide until now
Glad I was able to secure a copy for so little before it disappeared into the hands of resellers
yeah i get that, i just disagree on the DMC3 point of view. i think first time through DMD on dmc3 >>>>> bayo on NSIC. obviously bayo > dmc4, but dmc4 was pretty weaksauce.
I just got Bayonetta from Gamefly, holy eff, I feel like a retarded little kid playing this game. I have to continue like 300 times on each level on normal! I mean, I’m mostly an RPG player, but I didn’t know how truly horrible I am at this type of game…but I’m enjoying the hell out of it…
Heh something tells me you will really enjoy the character of Bayonetta lol.
bayonetta is just as easy as dmc 4 was. both on dmd and ic modes were comparable in difficulty, neither of which gave me much problems as a whole. idk whats everyones problem with dmc4, i’m guessing its nero but i felt he was a fresh addition to the series. dmc3 is still the king of all these games but outside the stupid wow and sexual factor bayo brings, its just as good as dmc 4.
my only problem with 4 was that it was just a tad bit too easy, nero was fun as hell, fun enough that when doing the bloody palace challenges i was allways using him. as for dante… who doesn’t love his all styles in 1 iteration?
Me. It’s clunky, unintuitive and defeats the whole point of the style system.
I recently replayed DMC3 and came to love it. Trickster > all, removing that one thing I really hated about DMC(Dante/Nero’s lateral movement is terrible). Its truly a fantastic game.
Bayo is still better though
Bayo > GoW2 > Viewtiful Joe 1/2 > DMC3 > NGB/S > Godhand > DMC4 > GoW1 > DMC1 > Heavenly Sword > Dante’s Inferno
I’m sure GoW3 will jump up into the top 3 in a couple of weeks.
how is gow2 so much better than gow1, it is almost the same game.
im outi
