Handgun is god tier, silenced AR for now, I like first sniper rifle but haven’t unlocked it all yet. Is there a way I can make myself be a spawn point? At least I progress down the map and not camp way back in the base becoming a useless spawn motherfucker. I went one game this morning telling myself not to kill anyone or vehicles and see how much points I can rake up, 2k. Rezzing someone happens sooo fast.
But every gun has it’s own way that you should pull the trigger.
Like K said that’s dependent on what map you’re playing on and more importantly the objective at the time. An M24 on the map where it’s nightfall and snowy couldn’t be a good fit since there’s hardly a line of sight long enough to justify it so the SVU fits pretty well into that map. On that same note, the Engineer on that map isn’t all that great since there’s no armor to repair or blow up and you can only blow out so many walls.
After playing 12-15 hours worth in any particular class you’ll get a grasp of what layout is best suited for the occasion. At times I don’t even play the Engineer class because it’s strengths are minimalized.
P.S. Got all of the Engineer unlocks and have to say the AKS-74U is a solid performer. Good iron sight, good accuracy for an SMG and there’s hardly any kick to it for aimed down shots. The UMP seems OK but it’s stock iron sight leaves much to be desired for. It’s to the point where I get the red dot sight to mitigate for it. Great damage for an SMG though.
P.P.S. AN-94 = Godlike. That thing must be the nuts with magnum ammo.
It’s because you’re using an ATI card. I just upgraded from my gtx 275 to a hd 5870 and my load time increased by more than double. I would say it loaded within 10-12 seconds on my gtx, but with my radeon probably 30 seconds.
I don’t know if they’ll fix it either.

This game is soo good. My fave classes are engineer and medic. I finally understand how to utilize the health kit for the team. I’m getting a little better at being a medic, so if anyone needs one, holler at me.
Rush mode is too good. The last minute comebacks and stand offs keep me coming back. Nothing like taking out the last crate when you only have 3 tickets left, or your team finally getting its shit together and pulling off a ridiculous last stand after getting steamrolled.
Alt+Enter also makes the game windowed mode.
Btw, has anybody been able to add favorite servers?
Anyone else get their stats wiped?
PC players on the PA forum are saying it’s hit or miss, just like searching for servers. Most of the time IP wasn’t working but searching for specific names was. Favorites seem to be hit or miss like the overall server browsing in general at the moment PC wise.
If they don’t reappear after logging out and back in, then give it some time. They should be back to normal eventually.
EA servers appear to be down at the moment in general anyway due to “connectivity issues” according to my scrolling text on the 360.
If anyone else ordered from Walmart over Amazon for one reason or another like myself my copy actually arrived between 3:30 and 5PM EST rather than taking an extra week like they said it did if you want/need some hope for your order.

Not sure if that affects PC/PS3 guys at all, given I can’t even see my stats page. So it isn’t just connecting to games on the 360 in my case.
Has anyone added the SRK tag on their “clan tag”?
If you don’t know how, you can do it by going to “Play with friends” option in multiplayer.
I added SRK as my tag just so if I come across anyone from here/SRK, they can add me and hopefully get some squads going.
I put SRK as my tag and I get extra points in the end when I get bonus for being part of the top clan even though I finish on top on my own. 200 pts only but whatever. Server issues suck ass.

Anyone else noticing how you can kind of set yourself up with insignias to skip whole ranks? I’m about to hit rank 11 and once I get 5 kills with the XM8 and 10 more kills with the 1911 I’m going to get 20,000 points just in medals.
Also, my in-game friends list isn’t working.

Yea pretty much. This is how I am leveling, just “maining” weapons instead of changing weps all the time. I got 2 gold stars with the M1911 and im about 11 kills away from the next star. Have 2 Gold stars with the SVU sniper about to get my next star in the next 20ish kills. Will get my next gold star with the mortar strike in a few more kills too. Mad EXP

Wasn’t a fan in the beta but that was moreso the map than anything else…so versatile and lethal…mmmmmh.

But ya co-sign on the medic madness. I’m hitting 3k now per round just on pts. On average I get 5 revive pins and some other shit. Lovin’ this shit so much.
Recon should be locked til you master or max a class. It brings the worst out of some people.
I’m liking this alot better than MW2 at this point. So much more fun and WAY more satisfying.
That’s because MW2 is a fucking retarded game people need to stop comparing BC2 with.
Definitely, most people use the class as a sniper when it is not.
