I don’t think there will be enough time to run singles and doubles in the same day. The last time we did teams a lot of people came out so I want to run it back because I think the community likes working together so this would be the idea event to have.

Thanks a lot triforce. Ban my character on the spot and unban him just because people (EMP PEOPLE) didn’t know how to fight him. This really changes my opinion of how empire works, but I like how ya stick together (not being sarcastic). Either way im upset he’s unbanned cause I can assure you they will learn what characters really mess him up now. I’m a bit confused with people saying I’m under leveld or w.e play me in smash kthnx 
I’m the guy who ended Justin Wongs career in smash before it even started LOL (check youtube Basic Sausage vs Justin Wong). It sucks he didn’t continue playing cause he def. woulda been a huge problem. Anyways I’m still new to the scene so once i stop shaking for no reason ill start winning these things easy and make a name for myself.
Doubles. We always do singles so I think teams of 2 or 3 would be a good change of pace.
We are going to make BFA XIII teams. 12 has way to many games to make it a team tournament.

No offense, Basic Sausage; but you allegedly brought up the question “is this allowed?” in refernce to your own giant shenanigans. I don’t think you are ready to make those kinds of statements.
so ur saying people should be allowed to make last minute decisions DURING tournaments mind you triforce did not state there will be any character ruling or anything of the sort. he saw something after his crew cried to him about it and said ill put the hammer down without being aware of how bad the character really is. ill even quote him on this he said “i just saw him dash through 2 supers he is broken”. first off he doesnt play the game so he dont know what really is broken within the game therefore he had no right at all to say during the tournament he will be banned. i was being the quiet kid but im stepping up now even if it is too late. sh*t like this shouldnt be allowed period. Keits just to let you know to me ur a nobody so stop tryna act so high and mighty.

No, it should never be okay to change the rules mid-tournament. Thats what this has been about. But it seems you agreed that your character might need a ban, and that makes me think you arent qualified to make the statement you made.

Even though Smash is not a “true fighting game” more like a party game if u ask me.
Justin did try to enter the Smash scene and Basic Sausage definitely money match him and won. I’m sure that’s not the reason Justin left Smash. Justin most likely did not like the game.
Smash Brawl is ok in my opinion. Smash Melee is too good right D1? xD
So Giants are back in TvC (They were not suppose to be banned in the first place!). Not for nothing, but it was funny to see players run to Triforce like he was their father after G. Lighten took out a team so quickly (I wish I had a camera on me, LOL). As some of you may know, Giants can be beaten pretty badly.
I believe the 1st place prize money from the last Battlefield Arcadia was suppose to go to Basic Sausage xD
I can not wait to see the outcome for the next Battlefield Arcadia

Actually no1 ever talked about changing rules mid-tourny the whole arguement revolved around giants being banned. Idk why you would even say that considering u were the main attraction for the whole giant ban debate. short term memory i assume…cute.
Well I’m glad NOW you understand how bad giants really are. Ofcourse I’ll accept your “gift” but i still would perfer 90 dollars over 10… or w.e first place was so dont think all is forgiven for screwing me over. its mainly my fault for keeping quiet and not saying nething but im breaking outta that shell so next time something like that happens dont expect things to go down the same way.

I don’t know if this is the thread to say it in, because I honestly don’t know if the video I saw was from this tournament (I haven’t been in the scene or following anything for a couple months now), but Sanford’s Viper reignited my passion for the game. Thank you, sir, and much respect.

Do you know what bothers me the most about people who make complaints? You guys always think that its a “EMP” thing. You beat Joe, he’s not Empire. I didn’t ban your character the COMMUNITY DID! They all came complaining to me. I did the best thing at that time for the scene which was have the “SCENE” make a call. Now after reviewing the situation the SCENE was wrong. Thus I take it up and become responsible for a bad call the “SCENE” made and then asked the experts, “KEITS” what can be done about the situation. KEITS then put out a list of things that can be done. You then post that if he is unbanned then you want a free entry back into the tournament. I then give that request to you because BASED on the information that we’ve gathered from the KEITS, THE COMMUNITY and some stuff that we found out in the lab, we unbanned the character and gave you free entry into the tournament. Your response to me is “This really changes my opinion of how empire works, but I like how ya stick together”
I understand that I’m a target but be a man about the situation and take it up with your peers, not the person who simply granted the request of your peers.
IMO It doesnt matter if you rate the giants characters broken, ass or whatnot. They should be banned because when you fight against a giant, your not even playing how the game is suppose to be playing anymore. Your forced to runaway, throw fireballs from full screen away and running the clock. How fun is that? LOL the game is a versus series. 2 vs 2. Every versus series like this have strong offensive rushdown game and it shouldn’t be a “watch me run away from the giant for 99 seconds.”
But hey there will be people saying how he sucks and they shouldn’t be banned and there will always be people saying how it makes the game boring (which is true imo) and they should be banned. So its basically smash bros all over again everybody. Items or no items. gogogo
Justin, I never asked but I just wanted to know are the Giants banned over there in the West Coast? Also what will Evo’s take be on this situation?
