I would love a little bit more balancing, something like a combo scaling system since its EASY to do a ton of damage.
I wonder how this game would play like at higher levels.

I think some characters need more moves like Arvid and HW.
adding that “other” girl would be a cool addition too.

oh yeah and that button mapping thing like 3rd strike for the grabs LP+LK and universal overheads HP+HK would be good to because people do use arcade sticks for this game.
New stuff is always good, but perfecting what you have is top priority. Mostly everything I’ve found broken has been stated, but really work on making the game atleast legitimately playable FAIRLY in terms of balance, then go ahead and add online. After that, do whatever you like.
Just discovered a glitch, haven’t tested it extensively, but i was playing arcade mode with khai and when after i killed a character with his tornado, i did his super while the character was already dead. The game did not let me go to the 2nd round and I couldn’t control my character.
im thinking it only has to do with doing a super after the KO screen, but further testing will be needed.
Love the game, one thing this game really needs is Online Mode. Not sure if you are able to add this feature or not? but if you could, that would be great.
I know it’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything about this game, but an update / patch has been approved and will be available sometime in early August. If you already have the game, it’ll just be an update, and if you were on the fence about purchasing it, maybe this will tip you over,
Various tweeks have been made to gameplay such as nerfing Arvid, eliminating most (but maybe all…) infinites and various bugs have been found and squashed. We also added some mini-games to add variety to the game. Oh! The game is now widescreen as well so you don’t have to deal with those annoying borders on the side.
If we do a sequel, there are a lot of different things we’d like to investigate, one of which, and probably the biggest and most difficult, would be online play. The other, more obvious ones, would be new characters, stages, music, polish, etc. Suggestions are appreciated as always.

Sweet, glad to hear this. I admit, I don’t play SB much because none of my friends are into FGs, but I bought it anyway cuz it’s so good. Looking forward to the update.
Awesome, saw this morning that Battle High San Bruno made it into the Developer’s Choice of the Indie Game Summer Uprising. I totally voted for it, the new widescreen mode looked pretty sweet.

What I noticed.
JIRO is retarded. A lot of chars have jump attacks that can be recovered from, and if YOU hit Jiro, he gets a FREE j.HK, or even 2, if he bounces. I have hit him pixels off the ground, and been hit with 2 rapid j.HK in retaliation. I have more matches that can show this, and his armor breaks everything except grabs, and he combo after the armor’s auto punch, which you can see my opponent doing, and well Jiro’s j.HK hitbox is the only thing giving MVC3 Wolveine’s divekick a run for its money. Only Arvid, and Mai can hit him from the air and he not get a free retaliation.
But Arvid, owns everybody. LOL. I cant wait to upload my Arvid matches. YOU WANT A PIECE OF CHOCOLATE!!!
But yeah, this game is pretty fun, and I’ve mentioned it to the locals. Hopefully they can pick it up. You know, it will kinda be sad to see Arvid nerfed, I love an OP character in a game. H.W needs work. Cant really get in, and his DP gets stuffed all day.

A new update was just released as part of the Indie Game Summer Uprising.
Updates involve the following:
Widescreen support,
Minor character balances and tweaks
Mini-Games,
New music and stages
Also, this won’t be the final update and we soon plan on releasing the game on at least one PC portal. No tentative dates for that at the moment though, but keep on the lookout.
