I think it’d be pretty dope if he had a feint of some kind. Not sure if a kongo one would be best though. What would the application be, feint kongo to bait a throw or attack for a counterhit setup? Maybe the ability to cancel a fireball mid charge?
hmm… I’ll have to concede that it’s not a practical idea. It stemmed from my desire of making the kongo a better footsies tool.

Yea, not being able to be safe jumped from the front on a move that cost a meter and has 102 frames of recovery is completely ludicrous.

There is stuff on the list I don’t even want, this isn’t MY list. More accurately, not stuff that I don’t want, but stuff I’d prefer to leave off because I feel it is too situational to help Gouken become more solid and taken in conjunction with the stuff that does make him solid, it is too much.
Can we just tweet this thing before 2012 comes out?

Everyone should tweet. It takes 30 seconds to sign up for an account, and even though I swore I’d never use twitter I’m actually finding it a great source of information for things I like.
So how are you guys doing it? Are you putting the link to this thread in the tweet or are you copying and pasting the while list which I dont think will fit?
The thing is that EX Tatsu does 200 damage and locks the opponent, and is a very simple command-motion to do - IE you won’t screw it up when executing it as an anti-air on reaction - plus that it’s faster to input than a SRK.
To give it a 3-frame start-up, and cover everything, is just unreasonable.

personally I don’t even care if it’s 3 frames, I just want ex to hit low so I can cancel it on block, with 3 bars.
Another thing with EX Tatsu FADC is that it’s actually +8 on block (EX Tatsu has 27 frames of blockstun) unlike SRK FADCs (which are afaik -1 on block), and I can bet there will be all kinds of complainers screaming about it. I doubt Capcom will see into it deeply and I feel they will make Tatsus un-FADCable instead of reducing blockstun of it if it were to be made 3f and if it hit low.
