bruvs, time to rise again!

Just add me and I’ll friend you as soon as I get the request. This week is gonna be busy but come next I am down to play errryday. I think that as a group we need to accomplish two things: 1) go HAM on that top tier shit, 2) create the absolutely lamest team possible. I want something so lame that it puts Eddie Lee to sleep. That way we can get online and give them “The Guile.”

I don’t sign in often, so PM me here if y’all ever want to play.
I’m really liking Derpl so far. His snare seems pretty good for guarding turrets and his nuke seems impossible for any character but Froggy G or Coco with speed upgrades on blaze to dodge. 40 (85 max) damage on a move with such long range, huge AOE, and tight homing is insane. I’d been using Froggy G until I unlocked Derpl, but he seems pretty lackluster to me without a ton of upgrades.
Does anyone know how to use Coco? Her moves don’t really make sense to me. It seems like she’d have been better off with a projectile as her square attack instead of that shockwave.
I haven’t spent enough time to judge her accordingly. Compared to Coco, Derpl is lightyears easier to pick up. The case was the same with Yuri (and I think he was one of the better ones).
Bumping so AYO posts a small thingy on his loadouts. Me wishes to get better at this game.
Oh yeah sorry, been a hectic day.
For Lonestar I predominately focus on gun, but on certain maps or depending on enemy team I’ll rush Dynamite instead, fuck Bull. Even with the buffs it’s best saved for last or if your shit is getting pushed in.
Dynamite upgrades: An extra stick! (1/2), Transfusion Grenades, Contact Detonator or Rubber Sleeve.
Bull upgrades: Super Breed 2.0, Ribbit Snail Slime (1/3), Mature Ribbit snail slime.
Pistol upgrades: Cheetah Bullets (1/2), Crystal Eagle Bullets, either missile upgrade (Both are the same).
Utility upgrades: Rocket Boots, Piggy Bank, Power Pills Turbo (1/3).
Since the patch they took away my mega health so relying on the Turbo, For Dynamite Rubber or Contact is really about player preference, personally I enjoy Rubber over Contact due to being a wiz at tragectory throws and being able to damage turrets safely outside of range. Although just as many people swear by Contact which is just as useful.
The Pistol build is one I used even before the nerfs to double missile. I respect the damage output of double missile but it was to random and lacked reliable damage. This set-up straight shreds your opponent and makes you an extremely effective lane bully with sustain, and able to better harass if your opponent is looking to escape. Practicing the 8-way shooting and mid-air shooting techniques is crucial to getting the most out of this path for Lonestar.
I only go for Dynamite first if the enemy team is packing a Heal only Voltar and more tanky champs. The extra sticks makes him a counter-pushing nightmare by being able to clear waves easily and lay on some damage to champions. Also nine times out of ten I will pick up Dynamite first regardless of the enemy team if we end up on the AI Station 404 map due to how it is formatted. Even so, if you find yourself taking a lot of damage I recommend holding off and getting all sticks plus Lifesteal early to keep yourself alive.
Bull upgrades are my last-last thing I will ever get, and honestly I usually finish games before I even buy the basic Bull. I only take it if we are getting pushed hard or the enemy players know how to move around. Double slime is very bitch move though, they will not get away from you.
Utility I take Rocket Boots because the speed and triple jump are important for a Pistol build to chase down the enemy. Piggy Bank is a no-brainer and helps get an early advantage with more items, and since Super Pill is gone I’ve opted for the 1/3 instead of the free upgrade, as Lonestar’s health bar can get very big, with the Dynamite replenishing you every few seconds.
Just take him in some practice games and really practice evading while shooting in directions, I see to many Lonestar’s online simple run forward and tank damage shooting straight when you can easily jump around, fire in all directions and take very little damage. This is GREAT against Leon (And I assume the female) due to them not having a directional auto attack, you can effectively shut them down while running roughshod on them.
I have well over 100 games with Lonestar, 89% win rate (Usually just Toddler, a bot, and I.) and over 608 enemy kills with him which is like…quadruple my next champ lol. He’s fun and dangerous and frankly I am surprised he didn’t get nerfed harder, just price increases and a few changes here and there.
Also for the love of good please Jungle the neutral minion camps if no one else on your team is. Grants health and money that racks up and keeps you in the game. Lonestar, Leon, Froggy, and Derpl do this the best.
time to jump back into the game bruvs!
lol as soon as I downloaded the new patch/characters I went back to Max Anarchy
I sent Pertho and xlxlxlxl PSN invites. I feel like every game I’m playing I have two bots so I’ve been getting my ass kicked recently. I’m hoping that’s what my problem is…
EDIT: Played a handful of games as Coco and went like 7-0, Win-Loss, with her. I only had one bad death game, like 3, and that was because I kept picking on a Froggy whenever he would try and go heal and he seemed like a bad matchup, I didn’t have lighting ball and I think it would have helped. Froggy could get over or under you and shoot then do his wavedash, it wouldn’t be so powerful if it didn’t stun you.
All in all Coco is really fun
played as coco last night bruvs, horrible. I think I’ll try out drpl today

I think Coco would make more sense if she had a projectile for her main attack.
I just don’t quite get her yet. She seems like she needs a very specific team to back her up to be effective (of course, she’s got crazy potential to ruin turrets if she gets that team behind her).
Her blaze move is the truth. Slowdown effect + Coco speed during Blaze + Slowing effect on melee + health drain = never dying (except to Froggy G :badboy:). Blaze cools down so quick 3-4 seconds, if you get in trouble pop blaze and gtfo. No hero can catch her if you have the speed upgrades.
Sending you a request now, regubruv.
I haven’t played online yet, but I finally got to level 45 the other day. Is there any purpose to prestige other than showing off? I’d rather not drop back down to level 1.
I think Lonestar needs some hard nerfs, Coco needs some buffs (at least 360 aiming on her standard attack), and Yuri skills are too expensive, but other than that I’m really loving the game.
You started after the good Sheriff has been nerfed, and you’re still calling for nerfs
I’m enjoying the game. If they dropped two more maps into the game over the next two months, I’d definitely see me playing this consistently for the next 1/2 year at least.
From what I read, all they did was make his upgrades more expensive. Is that correct? Trinamite and Bull are completely absurd.
Mostly cost adjustments yeah. The power pills turbo being split into 3 also affects him pretty heavily, I feel.
Even with the adjustments, I still think he’s top 2 in the game, and one of the easiest to use effectively.
Bull was trash before the update. Still not very good. Easy to predict and dodge. Ronimo nerfed his main weapons by increasing the upgrade cost and reducing missile damage on turret. Those were the main problems. Dynamite is still very good though.
Anyone going to be picking this up on steam next week? I’m definitely going to. The PS3/360 versions are already out of date compared to the Steam beta version. Ronimo said that they will try and keep the PS3/360 versions updated, but that the Steam version will be the way to go (due to costs of console patches).
I might get it but priority will always be console support

No, since I’ve been fucked by two games already going PC only after a console release. Sure it’s cheaper on them and whatever, but in the end the only people getting screwed are the ones who bought the console version in the first place.
Let’s see, Voltar’s offense is awful now.
Lonestar is overpowered.
Leon is practically worthless after the patch.
Clunk is ok.
Bottom line: I wish they didn’t nerf everyone
