Avatar Korra versus C. Viper
Just from that one shot, Korra really does look way more badass than Aang could ever dream of.

Watched the last couple of episodes last night while eating KFC and two types of ice-cream. It was a high inducing experience.

I mentioned C. Viper due to her using gadgets to utilize certain elements like fire and lightning which are incorporated into her fighting. The antagonists in Korra made me think of that.
The last Air Bender movie was voted the worsed film of the last year, lol.
whats so good about the cartoon?.. when it comes on I try to watch it but my attention wavers.
^ The cartoon isnāt perfect (despite all assertions to the contrary) but it gets very strong. Season 2 is where it really shines, but you have to get through Season 1 to get there.
Korra looks like a fusion dance between Katara and a concrete floor while the REAL fusion dance happens between some badass monk woman and some equally badass female mage or something.
I actually like her design. She looks like she really can kick someoneās ass without any bending at all. Since sheās sort of based on Kiyoshi (that warrior-woman avatar), maybe she would know how to use some weapons or other items (not like she needs it or anything)? Which makes me wonder about the fate of Sokkaās meteor sword .
I hope in this mini-series since its more like steampunk, we see lots of metal bending (assuming toph actually taught it to anyone). I really hope Korra has some nasty combinations of the elements, sort of like Aang in the finale but on a more consistent basis.
