It’s been about a year since I posted. Heh.
Not to namedrop, but I went to the same church as storyboard artist Kenji Ono in Eagle Rock. Layout guy Heiko D. was a former coworker with me at Wild Brain & SixFootTwo. He gave me some tips on storyboarding at the Animator’s Union.

after watching today’s episode, i noticed that we’ve never seen azula take a clean shot
i got a theory that a spoiled brat like her would totally turn knives if she got hit for real. zuko just gotta give her a manly SMACK and she’ll break in two.

That’s much easier said than done, however. I’m still surprised that she was able to fend off all those simultaneous bending attacks with her firewall AND use it to get away.
I’m still pissed off that I missed the first 10 minutes…and that poor Iroh got fucked up.
P.S. Hm…I like how there are multiple “crushes” on one person. Though May still seems to be the only that likes Zuko, besides that nebulous peasant girl whose name I don’t remember.
Shino EDIT: May it’s because of that Naruto fanfic that I’ve been reading, but I have elaborate on my postscript in saying that I especially like it the “crush” element because of the fact that isn’t this cheesy sort of destiny that too characters will obviously get together…like in the tripe known as Friends.

and zuko should just use the double swords. it would have the drawback of “o snap yur teh blue spirit!” but i think he could just kick his sister’s ass if he had the right tools

Your Sokka comment reminds me about something else that I’ve been wanting to ask:
Has anyone else noticed that Sokka seems to be really good with animals that aren’t Appa or Momo? It kind of is like he has “Heart” to make up for not having an element.
He also seems to be getting better with his boomerang and that weird ball-and-cudgel thing, if only defensively. He really needs to learn how to dodge blows…

HAH! I didn’t even notice that Sokka tossed his boomerang at Azula until I saw that pic. Zuko pretty much cut his uncle’s chances of survival in half with his bitch-ass temper tantrum…oddly enough, all his one-liners starting when Iroh got sucker-flamed sounded like his voice actor was the same guy who does Jake’s (American Dragon) voice…
Aw, shit! Why do I always find out this way? Anyway, those 2 one-liners were the only time in all those eps where he sounded anything like Jake, so I didn’t even suspect.
Watching Zuko Alone again…Azula is sadistic, and possible slightly insane. It would be mad fucked up if she survives to the end of the series and hooks up with Sokka…as his husband…
now thats fucked up, but crazy does make a good wife.
nah, sokka’s gonna get the FLEXIBLE circus girl. he tries to be sooo serious and she’s such a goofball that, well, they complete each other. and her aura is pink, so i’ve heard. :lovin:

yea, that’d be cool, wonder if Ozai’d have anything to do in it. Doesn’t seem like their two close, and Azula doing that bitchass blue fire shit on Iroh was fucked up.
I wonder if Ozai uses pure white-hot flames, would make sense though.
Wonder what Zuko’s gonna do now, hopefully Iroh isn’t dead
