Avatar: The Legend of Korra - Book 4

Well due to the comet their attacks were much larger. She was agile in anycase as she was skating around the area the break dancing flames knocked her down no amount of agility would do anything to keep her up but yeah her insanity did drag her down some levels.

That’s something I find funny looking at it. Nick didn’t give them the pass to have Jet die on screen but they showed Azula literally snap head rolling on the ground screaming and crying, that to me is a more disturbing scene.

I don’t think they have mentioned it at all. She is the only one who has spat out blue flames I think it’s for artistic reasons mainly. Ozai’s fire attacks were more intense and deadly than hers yet they were orange. Even when Zuko punched her flame back in southern raiders they cancelled one another out.

Having them coloured is a simple way of illustrating the differences between her and Zuko.

I have to agree with you. The Azula Zuko faced was not the same Azula who basically took on and held her own against the entire avatar gang.
She was unfocused, reckless and just plain cuckoo bananas. Zuko used this to his advantage which is how he was able to trip her up.

i thought that was obvious…normal azula is pretty broken but bitch crazy azula is mid tier.

The Avatar Track Team has that haunting theme from Azula and Zuko’s duel up if anyone wants it.

I was hoping to have Zuko be reunited with his mother, however that never happened, in which I wanted to actually see. Plus, hate me for this, but I was hoping to see Zuko’s face maybe get restored to it’s original look.

Also, maybe I’m the only one to like Katara because she was an actual real girl. This imo made her appealing to me, however for me personally, Katara and Azula have been my favorite females throughout the series although Toph is really awesome, cuz her personality is just simply appealing, plus her earth bending skill is great. I loved that episode when she split crotch the guy, that shit made me lol hard.

The fight of Ozai and Aang was epic, however once Aang went full Avatar, it was like equivalent to Goku going SSJ3 on Freeza, which was just downright lopsided, I was hoping for a slightly more closer duel, and hoping that Ozai was just waiting to unleash his full power when Aang went full Avatar mode, however that wasn’t the case.

Great Cartoon/Anime Series released here, to be honest, when I first saw Avatar, I was like…wtf is this twisted anime shit?! However, it proved me wrong when I watched an episode of it, and saw the animation, the characters, and especially the fight scenes with all of the different elements.

There was alot of great elements put into Avatar that made it so incredibly appealing and addictive, and definitely one of the new generation cartoons that I have to say would rival some of the early 90’s epic shows like Batman.

I’ll be waiting to get this seasons set when it comes out.

Well the fight between Ozai and Aang was pretty close, Aang could’ve lost but we all know what happened there. Also, it doesn’t make sense if the Avatar State can be matched by a human’s firebending or else being Avatar is just nothing special in terms of bending powers.

Neat, I remember how awesome I thought the theme during the Agni Kai was. It was so different sounding.

The avatar was always meant to be far stronger than any other individual bender. The only reason the Fire Nation war succeeded the way it did was because the avatar wasn’t around, and once he was, he wasn’t anywhere near fully trained.

The whole reason they wiped out the air nomads was to get rid of the avatar because they knew they were fucked with him around.

Nah I kinda liked it how it was, a one sided beating. It kept it realistic, Ozai realistically shouldn’t be able to do a thing against the combined experience of 1000 avatars who have mastered every element.

Yeah, I understand what you guys mean by that, but I liked the battle of Pre-Aang Full Avatar mode more, simply because it was more evenly played out. Still, this 2-hour special didn’t drop at all, it was amazing on all aspects.

Zuko is still my favorite character through out this series from any of the males, I really loved his storyline and how his complete 180 degree turn. It was magnificent, however I am really hoping that they make one more episode, a showing of “What are they doing now?” Kind of thing ya know, maybe showing them 10 years after the battle of Ozia, or even 5 years would be nice.

I was hoping that Azula would be able to truly meet her mother, and then possibly reconcile within herself and with everyone else and realize that she isn’t a “Little Monster”, since I really loved her character, and it sucked to see her go into Azula Trauma Mode the way she did.

well i liked how zuko’s 180 turn makes complete sense.

unlike some people like vegeta…vegeta did a face turn just cuz no one liked him basically. lol.

I agree. The transition was good. Especially the second season finale! I thought he was going to choose good then.

Hey here’s a great avatar site in case you want to know about the upcoming live action movie etc… http://www.musogato.com/avatar/index2.html

I don’t know what I think about it being a movie. I’d heard about this months ago from a magazine I read and still haven’t made up my mind.

Here’s a snippet about that:

M Night on the Airbender movie… makes me feel, nervous.

Who wants to bet that live-action Aang will be played by a white kid? :-p

Jake Gylennhall FTW plz.

OC

Hell if there are auditions to being Avatar I’ll try out I sorta think I look like him. And I would want Katara to be played by a beautiful ebony girl with blue contacts. Zuko can be played by Dante Basco. But hey it’ll never happen.

No wai gais, Haley Joel Osmund.

He was born to play Aang.

Uh…Katara’s not black. She’s generic anime-esque where everyone has the features of white people, only they added brown skin.

And Aang looks white as fuck, y’all know it’s true.

It’ll probably be an epic fail, if like Dragon Ball Z, they don’t even get the nationality of the race right. All I know is, it’s set in a fantasy eastern culture back drop with the fighting forms and looks from the east. They better have asians, or I’ll never give the movie any day of light.

You “could” have Inuit people portraying the Water Tribe for Katara’s family, considering they where from an arctic terrain, so having some one of that heritage would work for possibly Katara and Sokka.

Characters such as Aang, Zuko, Azula, Ozai, etc, etc are obviously derived from an asian heritage, so that should be quite easy and a gimme.

However, I’m pretty sure, all of these will be overshined and Ozai will probably have a black actor playing him, while Aang will be played by some random mexican guy, and Azula will be white.

If they can at least get the character races right, I will have hope for the real life movie release. So yeah…here’s to hoping.

Something I’ve realized a while ago. This show will really have some lasting appeal for the younger viewers. It’s going to be a show that will grow up with them. I imagine that as mature as this show has gotten, some of the material will go right over the heads of some viewers. They’ll only come to really understand things as they get older. Too bad some of the shows I watched as a kid didn’t turn out like this. Some stuff I’ll tend to revisit, and I’ll think…I liked this crap? I doubt anyone will say anything similar about Avatar.
