I really don’t think Shyamalan should be handling this…thus far, he’s shown a serious inability to make a movie that actually makes sense when viewed while sober.

I agree, I think M. Night is a hack, and WAY overrated.
In a way, he’s kind of like Keanu Reeves - people make fun of him for his acting and say he’s horrible, yet they go out and watch his movies.
I do like some of M. Night’s movies, but the majority of them weren’t too great.
To prevent total derailing from the thread, I think they should make an animated movie. To corrrectly portray the characters and have their humor, they can’t make it live action.
LOL I thought it was me who just didn’t like M. Nights movies. I’m still thinking about how I feel about this movie however I’m leaning towards… some things should just stay animated! Very skeptical. Perhaps because I love the show so much I’d just hate to see it’s name tarnished by a flop flick.
Animated would be much better. Sokka’s jokes in a live action film would not go well.

Except I don’t watch Keanu or M. Night movies, and I don’t want him to ruin Avatar. I thought the ones I did see sucked(except Dracula, but that was more of a Oldman movie than a Reeves movie), so I didn’t watch any of the others.

I think they did a good job of animating the bending effects and such, the game seems way too fast though.If they can have some good customization the game could be sick.

That’s what I call “Anita Blake Syndrome”. An author named Laurell K Hamilton started out strong with a non-girlie, action-packed series with a strong female protagonist named Anita Blake, who temporarily reanimated corpses as part of a business firm (in case a loved one died before a will was settled, or to name their killer), and hunting and staking rogue vampires (vampires have legal status in her world, and can only feed legally under consent of their…food).
The first 6 or so books were awesome, and very masculine, despite a woman being the main character. Now, she’s gone from being celibate to having sex with every man in the damn series. No more martial arts and shootouts, just pregnancy scares. Fans keep buying each new book, hoping that Laurell will get the series back to it’s roots and chill with the porn, but each book is nothing more than a girlie clit-flicker, with a couple pages of dialogue. Hence “Anita Blake Syndrome”.

It’s funny Toph instantly became my favorite character in the finale just from that metalbending armor scene alone. Also, the fact that she’s still the only metalbender in the world is also insane.
I think Ozai for the most part was really underpowered even before the Avatar state, with the Comet they should made him have even more elaborate firebending and lightning (which he barely used), oh well. At least his booster rocket firebending was neat.
Azula’s transformation was the most realistic thing to happen in the end, but I still wish she fought Zuko in her prime, I guess in the end she still was just too damn good to be beaten fair and square.
Oh and Aang’s compromise was lame IMO, but I have to remember that it’s foremost a tween show.
Most impressive feat in Avatar Finale IMO:
