Avatar: The Legend of Korra - Book 4

Spoiler

Was betting on Iroh. Sadly, it was’t to be.

Spoiler

Uh…the father was already revealed to be Ursa’s boyfriend/fiance prior to Ozai. Ikem.

I edited my post.

Well, time to give the synopsis on the rest of the chapter…since, you know…other stuff happened…

[details=Spoiler]Man…even after MULTIPLE attempts on Zuko’s life even while sane, Zuko still wants to be close with Azula. He’s nothing if not determined…

Didn’t think it was possible to feel even worse for Ursa…but they pulled it off. I have a feeling she’s not alive.

That wolf spirit is badass.

And has anyone noticed that Zuko seems to be spending much more time with Suki over Mai? I mean…we technically don’t know who Zuko married in the future yet…you never know.[/details]

Another update since we got a different comic for free comic day. Rebound.

It’s pretty short, but two things came from it, nothing too major so I won’t bother with the spoiler tags.

A) Mai once again breaks up with Zuko after the Promise. Apparently getting increasingly paranoid and visiting your crazy father in secret isn’t a good way to maintain a relationship.

B) Something I expected to happen, there’s an Ozai Loyalty Group trying to get him back to the throne. I expect something similar to happen with the Equalists in the Legend of Korra. When an influential group establishes enough of a power base, it’s never as simple as just cutting off the head to eliminate it.

Girl got dem crazy eyes…

Wow so when is that season 2 coming back in? Also get on that book called the Promise?

Fall seems to be the likely date for Season 2.

As for the Promise, already discussed I believe. Really nothing that terribly important there other than seeing the setup for Republic City, the beginning of Metalbender School, and giving Mai a reason to leave Zuko…again…

If they continue with the Korra / Mako relationship it’ll definitely hinder my enjoyment of the show.

I know people love that they didn’t back down from fans but the way they got together makes me like Korra alot less.

Hard for me to root for a heroine when her love interest is a indecisive douchebag of the highest order.

I hate that I feel this way because Korra the character is awesome but that shoehorned in relationship ruins so much of what should be the best main female character in years.

I wasn’t one of the people bitching about their hookup at the end but hell if it didn’t leave a shitty taste in my mouth. So I understand where the hate comes from, I think it’s justified.

Korra at least has an excuse for her acting the way she did.

Mako…is a dick.

I just give credit to the writers for making Asami not evil and a legit member of Neo Team Avatar.

Oh get over it.t

I ship Korrasami because lesbians licking bellybuttons fuck off

I laugh when I think of Korra/Mako relationship. The avatar is many things. Never expected for homewrecker to be one of them.

Well it doesn’t seem to be uncommon within a circle of the Avatar… Lin got homewrecked too by Pema fiending for Tenzin.

I just hope there’s less focus on relationship drama and more on telling a legit great story.

Best part of LOK was when they stayed on the.main plot.

Pema giving Korra homewrecking tips is one my favorite moments of the show. It’s something I don’t expect to see from a kids show.

Yeah…don’t get your hopes up. They’re teenagers without a war to fight.

If only Asami knew. That would make any visit to that home a bit awkward.

Relevance finally.

This was forthcoming. After you master fire, earth, wind, water- SPIRIT is the only thing left. I suppose Dark/Gravity and Light, is some other energy they will allow her to learn. Great series!

Well we still have little to no information on the Spirit World.
