Book 2 trailer
Two months awayâŚcanât wait.
And the lucky bastards at Comic-Con get to watch the first ep.
Nice!
Oh, and weâll see two episodes with the ORIGINAL AVATAR. Not Aang, Iâm talking Avatar number 1.
Coo.
Man the animation budget this show must haveâŚ
I remember reading that it cost a $1 million to produce one episode of the original series. Korra must a similar or larger budget
Iâve heard that number too. I wonder if prodicing the show in HD ups the cost significantly compared to the original series? I was actually kind of expecting to see a bit of a dip in animation since the fist season was originally planned to be the only season of Legend of Korra so theyâd invest more per episode. Looks like I may be wrong.
Daaaaaamn, animation on this show is crazy good, the wait was definitely worth it. Also Glenn from the walking dead is voicing avatar Wan (the fist one) haha
and Hooooly crap I dont know what Google is on but if you are in a safe place google avatar the last airbender⌠by safe i mean its nsfwâŚ
Cannot waitâŚdammit Nick, you can make great cartoons again if you just TRIEDâŚgod forbid you go back to doing what you were known forâŚgreat nicktoons.
Well considering that TMNT is doing good work for them as well and their competition likes shooting themselves in the footâŚthey donât HAVE to try that hard. Avatar alone wins them the war.
New TMNT is really good tho. Yaâll sleepin on it.
Iâm a little surprised there hasnât been any talk about the search part 2 yet. I canât find a single website that has a regular scan, but I was lucky enough to find this.

This is much better then the promise. I can see even more now why this story was left to be told in a comic book because it is kinda dark. I really canât wait for October to come around so I can see how all of this wraps up.

Because the time between issues is just long enough for me to forget. We should really put a reminder up. Anyway, on this issueâŚ
[details=Spoiler]Okay, so now any doubt of the letterâs validity is gone. Zuko really is Ikemâs son. And it seems he does not want to be Fire Lord anymore which is odd. However considering that heâs doing exactly what Azula suggested in the Legend of Korra (traveling the world) it should be interesting to see how this comes to a head.
And finally we see the full details on what happened on that fateful night. AndâŚwell, we had most of it down already, just hammering out the details. Instead of killing Azulon directly, she gave Ozai an untraceable poison and now we know how the whole banishment thing came about. Plus we see more of her parenting when it came to Azula and Zuko. Itâs funny how much of a huge parallel there was between the two kids. They both resented one of their parents yet wanted nothing more than to be loved and respected by them. However, unlike Ozai who absolutely hated Zuko (even when he thought Zuko WAS his kid), there was no doubt that Ursa dearly loved Azula and even wanted to take her along with her during her banishment.
Now the final questions. Is the Mother of Faces (CREEPYâŚand I thought Koh was a fucking piece of work) Ursa? And if not, what really became of her?
Chances are she is indeed a Spirit, if not the Mother of Faces which is saddening. But ironically a connection point to Book 2 of Korra. If she is a Spirit, Korra could meet Ursa herself. I mean, if Wan Shi Tong is coming back, who knows what other things we could see.
Iâm hypedâŚthough I know Iâll forget again.
EDIT: I also forgot to mention something. The chapter also explains Zukoâs Blue Spirit mask however indirectly. They really are going hard at explaining even the most innocuous loose ends.[/details]
How does it compare to 2003 TMNT? IMO, that was the best series before it changed.
Itâs a bit more light hearted then the 2003 show was, geared a bit towards a younger audience, but itâs not pandering, or stupid and it doesnât forget a lot of TMNT fans are a good deal older then the main audience. The writings still quite good, the actions actually really good, and they do a good job giving each turtle shine time. Iâm not quite a big fan of the Anime-ish moments where the characters get big sweat drops or something, but they donât use them as a crutch, itâs not something they lean on. Just happens from time to time for a comedic moment. Might not like DOnnie crushing on April either, but I donât think itâs a big thing since thatâs rotated through the characters list depending on the medium and series for the most part. Iâve seen Raph, Mikey, and now Donnie all have a thing for April so whatever. It seems to bug some people but itâs a non-issue for me.
September 13th.

Itâs time.
Apparently a new trailer was linked in the Facebook post as well

Well considering that TMNT is doing good work for them as well and their competition likes shooting themselves in the footâŚthey donât HAVE to try that hard. Avatar alone wins them the war.
What war? With Cartoon Network?!

Thatâs a debate for another day, but yeah Iâm not a fan of the romance between Korra and Mako either.
I missed the part where no romance between Aang and Katara until Book 3 was a bad thing.
Korra Asami romance please fuck the bigots.
