Decent amount of predictability, Aang obviously averts another war and doesnāt kill Zuko so letās just talk about fallout.

Roku was disappointed in Aang not killing Zuko even though Zuko was his great-grandson and worried for the state of the world, which led to Aang cutting off his connection to Roku permanently. I wonder if this will eventually bite Aang in the ass later.

Aang talks to both Fan Clubs and dubs them the Air Acolytes, which means they are the predecessors for the Air Acolytes we see in TLOK.

Biggest thing was the segway into The Search. It seems Zuko is the one who willingly lets Azula out of the Mental Facility. Sheās not in a cell and is wheeled in so at least she isnāt attempting to kill everything. But it turns out every single day sheās been in there (so for at least a year) all sheās thought about was where Ursa is. She looks mental and still sees Ursa in every reflection. Sheās also the only person that can coax the info from Ozai butā¦this cannot possibly end well. Azula is scary enough when she was in control, I canāt imagine what sheāll do now that sheās completely batshit insane. [/details]

Eh, youāre not missing a ton. Just mostly bridging some things slightly for TLOK and setting up the MUCH more hyped and useful story The Search.

Yeah, if people arenāt raging on M. Night for fucking up The Last Airbender, theyāre pissed at James Cameron for deebo-ing the word āavatarā from Nickelodeon!
Ehā¦Iām not gonna hate on James Cameron for that. He did technically have the name first. Plus since Korra started, weād have to specify which series weāre talking about anyway between TLA and TLOK so itās not much of a hindrance.
Doesnāt exactly stop people from raging though.
TLA/TLOK fanbase is most known for raging that Katara didnāt get with Zuko. Excuse me while I not give a damn about their raging.
EDIT: Also, good thing about this much time offā¦really gives you time to look over what we saw and make more sense of things. Like for example, noticing how Korra gaining the Avatar State which seemed like a Deus Ex Machinaā¦was actually being setup for almost the entire season. As for getting her elements back, Avatar State gives zero fucks about Bloodbending changes.

Well it was Ozai that gave her the plan really. But considering that Zuko didnāt get dethroned involuntarily by the Legend of Korraā¦Azulaās plan is destined to fail. But shit man, I really wish they would animate the Search. This shit is WAY too important to keep to the pages of comics. Just like a 3 part OAV or something.
