Apparently LOK was at Comic-Con and there’s gonna be 3 more seasons. Awesome stuff.
Thanks for not reading the last 30 posts
Zuko with that Roronoa Zorro Triple Blade action? Yes please.
Toph looks like she hasn’t aged a bit. :lovin:
It’s not crap but it’s not something to write home about. It’s very well animated but it’s not very interesting with the character design and the writing is kinda weak.

Hope Youtube doesn’t take it down. That aside you can kinda see why the Avatar state is a necessity, seemed like overkill when comparing them to regular humans but from the looks of things there are some pretty nasty and hostile spirits.
- she is a fully realized avatar. that aang interaction bullshit at the end made sure of it. he announces that she has achieved spirituality due to her depression, and gives her the avatar state as well as energybending. seems pretty fully realized to me.
Just because she now qualifies as a fully realized avatar doesn’t mean she’s topped out in power. Just means she’s hit all the check list of bending every element while in Avatar state.

She can go into and out of the Avatar state at will, the above video shows her using the state to beat the children in an Air scooter race.
actually, it does mean she has hit her plateau in power. maybe not in discipline of said power, but yes to power.
Momo, never ages, never ages. And Katara looks too happy.
(Rather glad I still don’t automatically see embedded things. Now if only I fixed auto-seeing spoilers…)
Similarly, I’m rather glad that Viacom and DirecTV decided to have their little spat after Legend of Korra ended. I don’t really care about not getting Nick otherwise right now, especially since I was hardly watching TV to begin with.
Geez. No kidding. He basically looks like Ozai Jr. mixed with shades of Roronoa Zoro as was already said.
Out of all the old Gaang, I think I enjoy adult Sokka’s look the most. Nice to know he kept being a swordsman even after he lost Space Sword.
It rather makes sense that adult Katara would be so happy though given that of the Gaang, outside of Aang, she (and Sokka) suffered the most because of the war. Similarly, she benefited the most out of it ending:
- Got with Aang and had three kids.
- Found out her father was safe and probably was able finally to spend time with him after the war.
- Found her mother’s killer and avenged her death without giving into revenge.
- Probably happy for Sokka presumably staying with Suki.
- Presumably happy for her grandmother getting back together with Pakkun (?) after the war.
- Happy all her friends made it through the war (unless you count Jet, but that’s highly debatable).
So, she has plenty of reasons to be beaming.
Unless you just mean that it’s weird seeing her that happy (or that you don’t like it), then, yeah, shit’s kinda weird.
Personally, I’m still hoping that even in the case that Kya isn’t deadly serious, she’s not a “ditz” just because she’s a bubbly female. Then again, Ty Lee wasn’t ditzy, so I probably shouldn’t be worrying just like the Equalist thing.
goes back to wondering what happened to Ty Lee even though now he has a few theories
I also would rather like it if Kya hasn’t picked up her mother’s preachiness.
Nah, just that it was weird.
I’ve been watching this series on Netflix. I can’t believe I didn’t see this sooner.
Just marathon watched this show and am thoroughly delighted with it. Guess I need to hit up the original on Netflix and learn my history. Seismic Sense is so badass.
watched all the last air bender along with korra in the last few weeks and I have questions…
super spoilers
Spoiler
1- why was Amon able to take away bending? I understand he was a blood bender but why could he remove bending?I thought only the Avatar could do that.
2- who taught everyone the paralysis fighting in Amons crew? i thought only the fire chicks from the last AB knew how…
3- Amon’s #2 guy with them letric sticks…did he died?
4- I thought they said in the last AB the Avitar always has a pet that flies… why does she have this low tier polar bear dog?
5- one thing thats bugged me since the last AB, why did Katara not heal (or try to heal) the scar on zuko’s face? they teased it in a cave scene but I mean c’mon after years went by together they never tried it?
K done
If you think energy bending is the plateau of the avatar’s skills~ you’re obviously not Katara.
I’m not going to spoiler it right now, because it’s been a while since the finale so…

We don’t really know the answer to that. It’s possible we could find out later.
-
We also don’t really know the answer to that, but I would assume that when Ty Lee joined the Kyoshi Warriors and taught them chiblocking, it ended up spreading. Like Lightningbending, it’s not as uncommon anymore.
-
Also unknown, but I’m gonna assume he’s alive for now.
-
They never said that and that hasn’t been the case. It just happened that the previous two before Korra did (Roku’s Dragon and Appa). Not to mention, I wouldn’t call Naga low-tier, Korra’s the only person alive to actually tame a polar bear dog.
-
Like Zuko said, it’s a scar, it can’t be healed. It might’ve been possible with the Spirit Water, but Katara used it all to bring Aang back from death.
Nevermind the flying, I always figured the Avatar would have the animal that originally was able to do the bending corresponding to his tribe. Like, an earth avatar should have one of those mole-thingies. But I guess any ol’ non-magical animal is fine.
