Avatar: The Legend of Korra - Book 4

Hey , so does anyone know where i can Dl all the episodes ,i am sadly without the cable here

There are few things certain in the world,Stabby is one of them

There’s always bittorrent and even YouTube.

[I hella missed last night’s episode.

So here it is.](http://isohunt.com/download/14088458/avatar)

Shin, try mininova or isohunt. The first season is already done and so you cna get a pack, but season 2 you’ll need to find individual episodes for.

After watching the first five episodes, I have to say that the show is pretty good.

The one problem that I do have is with some of the humor. Is it just me or does it seem like the comic relief tends to come at some of the worst times, like immediately after somebody’s saying something serious. Obviously it’s done intentionally, but I do have to admit that i’m turned off by it somewhat.

With that being said however I liked what I saw this week and will continue to watch.

Worst episode of season 2. I’m glad I missed it.

100% filler and everyone was either out of character, or just retarded. Except for Iroh.

Got the last DVD for season 1 last week.

Water bending was well represented.

It was also very pokemon esque.

Fire Nation uses Sunny Day !

Fire attacks are now stronger !

Water Nation uses Rainy Day !

Water Attacks are now stronger !

lol. It’s kinda lame how Fire Bending is so broken. It get’s all these bonuses and has basically no weaknesses. ( don’t be like “Well Water”, if that was true, how the FUCK DID THE ASSUALT THE WATER CAPITAL SURROUNDED BY WATER ! )

Fire Bending = Broken.

Earth and Air Bending are the coolest though.

Offensive tiers

Earth > Water > Fire > Air

Defensive tiers

Earth > Air > Fire > Water

And that is the way things are. I guess you missed the discussion we had on these?

Yes I did.

But Earth has a huge handicap in the fact that you NEED Earth to do it.

Fire and Air don’t need anything in order to be awesome. Until I’m shown otherwise, Fire and Air are broken.

The only way you could not be around earth (in the Avatar world, at least) is if

  1. You are on the ocean.
  2. You are on something made of metal.

Earth is broken because you can just dive deep underground and throw instant-kill spikes up into people. Other benders can’t do shit about that.

Water is only broken because you can bend the water inside of stuff, so you can instant-kill anyone within range by pulling out their juices, or ripping them apart.

Fire doesn’t have anything except for fireballs and lightning, which other schools can handle easily (earth shield, tornado wall, water… whatever) at least for fireballs. If it didn’t have infinite ammo, then it wouldn’t even be worth having.

I hope they find Appa soon. Does anyone know how many more episodes till this season is over?

Probably 20 total like the last season, so 5 episodes.

Don’t they have to be standing on the earth to bend the earth ? An airbender would just have to float them a little bit and they would be helpless.

I guess we are talking like non cannon shit here. There is probably some clause in the show about not being able to bend people juice because it is not pure water and has a soul or something.

If we are talking about benders as if they were elementals. Then fire and wind benders could do the same thing. Fire Benders could boil your insides and Air Benders could fill you up like a balloon until you popped.

why is no one discussing the Toph-Fro?

that girl’s got a fucking LOT OF HAIR

If Bumi’s any indication, no, you do NOT have to be touching the earth to bend it.

Edit: Stabby, I kinda liked some of this episode. Zuko, Sokka, Iroh, and Momo’s were pretty good, I think.

VS,

I try to stay within the theoretical bounds using the outlines for stuff that the show makes.

What I said about earth still stands-- Bumi did that fall-into-the-ground thing in episode 4 or 5, and Toph did it again recently too. Spikes are a basic ability that earth benders use all the time.

Early in season 2 they had an episode where the guy was bending water inside of plants to make the plants move. Even if a waterbender can’t pull water out of your blood, they could just rip the urine/eyejuice out of you and fuck you up with it like that.

Firebending and Air bending don’t work like that, they both originate from the person, or in a line from them. Firebending has concrete proof of this (Iroh showing Zuko stuff, and that one crazy dude that trained Aang for an episode). The only technique I’ve seen to contradict this was when aforementioned crazy dude threw up that huge firewall to get away from the crazy general guy. The closest thing I can think of for an airbender just popping someone is if they pulled the air out of their lungs/pulled it out of an area.

Panicked,

I didn’t even watch Momo’s. Zuko’s was pointless and weird, Iroh’s was hella pointless-- except for that bit at the end about his son, and Sokka’s was the most pointless of all. Katara/Toph went downhill after seeing Toph’s shin-hair and Aang’s felt out of character.

They had too many characters and so the shorts suffered for it.

That, and the whole episode was pointless. Hey, we found out Appa is in Ba-sing-se! Wait, we already knew that.

Next episode airs on the 13th, and is about Appa’s POV about this time.

Yeah that fight was badass. Bumi is the man.

Remember I’ve only seen season 1. But I did see that one episode where Aang tried to save Bumi in the earth city and Bumi was like “LOL, I don’t need saved !. I am hax” So I guess you are right. Toph is the shit too, so Earth is cool with me

I’m still repping Air 4 lyfe though.

I know they’re pointless, I just thought it was cool how they showed the characters interactions during their stay in Ba-sing-se. I thought Katara and Aang’s sucked, but everyone else I enjoyed, not because it advanced the story (because it obviously didn’t), but because it showed different parts of their personality (Zuko), or just amused me (Iroh, Sokka, Momo.) I guess we’ll just agree to disagree.

Some of the haikus were good. But Iroh’s part was still boring, IMO. The end redeemed it. And I would have liked Zuko’s part a lot more if he didn’t just firebend to light all the candles. That pissed me off.

I guess I maybe might give Momo’s a shot.

Sorry VS, I forgot you just caught up with S1. Air is my favourite, too.

I saw this thread and youtubed the series. Then I youtubed for the entire first season.

Thanks Stabby, the show is actually good.

On the whole element listing, offensive wise, water>earth.

Earth is great and all but from what I have seen outside of sand benders, not many earth benders can fire off multiple or wide reaching area attacks. Sure they can shift the ground into multiple shapes, but they are usually geometric and there is noticable lag.

A fire or even better a water bender can send out multiple attacks one after another with less lag time. Water also has the basis for a healing ability so right now and majority of most planet’s surfaces are covered with the stuff.

Water>Earth
