Watching the movie and hearing every funny bit Iroh was saying made me laugh and cry. Damn he is going to be missed. =/

Damn does that show how great Toph is. Ever since she was introduced she’s been my favorite character on the show. Aang is good but damn does Toph kick ass. Katara is great too so long as there’s a huge body of water nearby.

So I caught this week’s ep last night and… it was great. Ba Sing Se is clearly based on the governments from Brave New World and 1984 (it leans toward the peaceful, benevolent dystopia of BNW, but with the subversive iron grip that Oceania has on its party members). Sad to see the team’s host get erased from existence and memory a la the memory holes.
