Wasn’t Aang in the avatar state during that attack? He wouldn’t have been reincarnated.
Also, old people are awesome in avatar. Look at Bumi, Iroh, and the other white lotus members.

That’s the other thing I forgot to mention that throws the theory out of balance. I don’t believe it, and really just found it interesting which is why I threw it out here.
True, but Amon under his outfit looks really physically fit (hence why I feel he’s a middle-aged man, and I’m not saying their aren’t old bad ass people in Avatar, we’ve seen that before, just my own hunch), while Bumi and Iroh were not of the same physical status, although Iroh did change this later.
Can this show get any more awesome?!
Hiroshi being an equalist doesn’t surprise me, but Asami not knowing any of it did. However, let’s just see whether or not this isn’t a Xanatos Gambit unless she ends up being a Spanner in the Works.
[spoiler=]Someone needs to call Tony Stark. Sato stole his repulsor tech.
Episode was amazing. I remember someone here calling Sato being a equalist. I can’t say I’m surprised. He’s the most influential non-bender in the city and Amon needed to get his Starktech somewhere. Also awesome seeing Lin use Toph’s techniques. Lin going vigilante at the end = RIP criminal element of Republic City.
I want a clear shot of Asami in her swimsuit.[/spoiler]
Just finished episode 6. Korra was wearing her Pro Bending gloves when she caught Lin’s metal whip. A large number of sporting hand wear is thick as fuck.
Plot was predictable in this episode, but it was done well.
Trying to skip spoilers here, anyone got a link to this new episode? I need this shit o_o
I think it’s about to come on again.
In the US, yeah
Thanks for looking out though!
It’ll eventually be up on Nickelodeon’s website.
Batman in my Avatar? SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!
(So much for the Cabbage Guy’s descendant having good fortune. Poor bastard. Although I am curious about how Cabbage Corp is/was Sato’s number 1 competitor. Guess it dealt with more than food.)
I guess I was the only person surprised at the reveal about you know who. Makes sense in hindsight though, just from a material aspect.
Anyway, I think this may have been the best episode yet for quite a few reasons:
We finally got to see Tenzin Airbend more than just a bit.
More fleshing out of Asami without it being through the “shipping goggles”. It’s nice to have the non-bender ally be a girl and just a girl, but a “girly girl” who can actually still protect herself and doesn’t care about appearances or, at least, make-up. It’s really damn refreshing to have that from several aspects, not just gender-representation ones.
Somewhat alluding to that pool scene, damn, Bolin is ripped. I guess it makes sense though. It’s just a bit weird for it to be made apparent given how dorky he usually is.
Pure platinum? Geez. Shows someone’s drive.
We got to see Toph’s technique live on (even if there was a minor animation error with it) and confirmed that Lin, at least, can also still Earthbend even if we haven’t seen the other cops do it yet.
Next time Lin shows up, she’ll probably be dressed like Venom/black-suit Spider-man.
I would have liked for Sato’s wife’s killer to have been something other than a Firebender, though. I get that fire is the most destructive–thanks, Jeong Jeong–and all, but it’s not like earth and water can’t be used to do fucked up, fatal shit as well.
Kinda surprised that there was no preview for next week’s episode though. Hunh.
About all these firebending murderers, I’m wondering
What if these killers are all part of some neo-Naziesque Firebending organization that are trying to bring back the Fire Nation Empire?
[details=Spoiler] good episode.
i am in love with bei fong. that bitch has taken the tittle of da baddest bitch from azula lol. also it was cool as hell toph told her how to see through metal/earth like her. glad they put that in the show.
lol @ cabbage corp
also i like the direction the show is heading so far. instead of the good guys winning every battle, they are losing to a enemy that is one step ahead of them. it’ll only be a matter of time before things turn around.
also WE HAVE FUCKING MECHS IN THIS SHOW NOW. [/Spoiler
Disclaimor: Newest episode is DLing now so I haven’t seen it yet.
Wouldn’t using Mechs in a city whose police force specializes in Warping Metal be ah uh…bad idea?
[details=Spoiler] they’re made of platinum. the purest of metals. meaning they no one can bend them cause they have no traces of earth in them.
don’t worry i thought the same thing. lol [/details]
I don’t think that’s how Platinum works but i guess I’ll buy it. Either way the Benders just need to wait the resitance out if they plan on using large mounts of a heavy metal as weaponry. Enjoy your sickeness lol.
Doesn’t platinum conduct electricity really well? I think that might mess up the person inside those mechs.
But all those metals still come from the earth sooooo…
Hiroshi explained that Platinum is impervious to metal bending. Which is why the anti-bender Gundams are made out of the stuff. Basically, either Lin steps her game up and surpasses her mother by figuring out how to bend the unbendable, or a firebender of Azula’s level needs to show up and start smelting some shit.
This was a great ep. I’m loving the action scenes and choreography. Finally got to see Tenzin strut his stuff for a bit… dude is a boss. Glad Asami didn’t pull the heel turn at the end there. Things are getting interesting.
