That’s what I was thinking about. Every combo that ends with RH gets nerfed.

Waiting to see if Kim can try those combos to see about damage loss or hopefully gain if we are wrong.

Is U2 more punishable on block or whiff in-case you’ve misread a fireball?

Stabicron?The properties of stand roundhouse seem to be the same as the previous games. I wasn?t exactly looking at my opponent?s life the entire time, but it seemed that the nerfed damage at max tip of the roundhouse only happened at the absolute max distance. Sounds dumb I know, but I rarely kicked them at that range. I was always a little bit closer somehow and thus got the 100 points of damage most of the time. BTW fighting zangief is much easier in this game thanks to nerfed lariat. Stand roundhouse was good, but noticeably shittier vs zangief

Azza: I played a Yun a couple of times, he kept going for tick grabs and knew basic combos. I?m guessing the Arcadia articles taught him that. The most notable thing is that yuns jump arc is strange. It?s really hard to do jump strong to him on reaction to his jump. Its like his jump is too low, so when I jump and leave the ground to hit him, I?m already above him

m16ghost: I punished Akuma?s teleport after headstomping and holding a charge. And punished dhalsims stand fierce, but those were on anticipation and no way on reaction. U2 does mad damage now if you charge it up to max. If you land a 50% U2, the damage boost is still noticeable.

SmokeMaxX: U2 seems to be the same as super. I got mad teleports though. The motion is now down with punches so, you land behind him if you fuck up.

1)*** If you knock down Akuma in the corner, and he teleports out (past your body). It?s WAYYYY easier to do a reversal special/super/Ultra to catch his body. That?s really really good. In vanilla, even though this was possible, I always sucked at executing it. But I never missed it in AE. 3/3

2)*** This happened just once, but I think there might be something different about his teleport. It might be related to #1 above, but I was in the corner or near the corner(I don?t remember) and I did teleport from the corner to the other side of the screen. It was looking definitely unpunishable.

Wait, YOU were in the corner, with the opponent on the outside, and you teleported to the other side of the screen?

a) Which teleport did you input?
b) What was your opponent doing at the time?
c) Why were you trying to teleport from the corner?
d) What the hell. Bison really is meant to runaway lol.

I figured that would happen with standing roundhouse. If both hitboxes connected, I would hope the game gave you the 110 damage instead of the 80, and the range on the inner hitbox is still pretty good.

I’m also guessing if you are borderline psychic, you can punish lp booms with lk super, the same way Dudley can U1 through them.

M.Bison did that teleport in SFA3, at least the cpu Bison did. He was definitely unpunishable. If I’m not mistaken I think the player could do it as well at times. It would be cool if he had it in AE.

What exactly do you mean when you say it’s way easier? Like, is the window to auto-correct the punish wider? Please elaborate if you can.

That can’t be right about Teleport. If it worked anything like Akuma’s it would a joke. “Oh look its Zangief… I’m getting corner trapped, oh wait I’m over here, oh here he comes again and he’s jumping at me, but ahah! I’m over here now!”

Teleport does seem to be a LITTLE different, animation wise, but it could be my eyes playing tricks on me.

After watching a few AE videos, it looks like the teleport recovery has been shortend. Or maybe that’s just wishful thinking.

Kim do you know yet if Yun or Yang have any OS to use on Bison’s wake up or can they punish a blocked Ex.PC?

I just came home from Super Arcade…
I had a chance to play dudley zangief and Mbison
The cabs were pretty nice and Dictator was named Vega… which was pretty cool:woot:
I didnt notice anything different about dictator
most of his normals did the same amount of damage…
st. roundhouse did 100 damage every single time i used it… so im gonna say it does 80 damage at the very tip of his legs
short scissor kicks was the only noticeable difference… it does push back a little further now…
but i think it might be traveling a little bit farther out than the chocolate sf4 version
i could be wrong so Kim should confirm this with me

I havent really used the sk loop since 2008 since every1 in socal knows about that crap…so the pushback really doesnt affect me
so i think the push back might be a little bit of a buff… since if i am correct and i think i am… the longer range of the sk really helps against players that focus the 2nd hit of sk

But yea i wanted to let every1 know that dictator is still a good character so stop crying in the other threads:looney:

the nerfs to guile, gief, and honda really helps but… fucking yun and yang…

Knee Press pushback likely putting him in a slightly better position to anti air with normals and jump normals, it can’t be that bad.

I wasn’t too happy about the charge Ultra 2 at first but after thinking about it, it should be a lot better than QCF’s, what do you think so far, Kim? Andy?
