I haven’t. Well aware of the fact that they treat illegal immigration in a worse manner than the U.S. Brought it up in one of my classes that they split a family that came from the phillipines. Shit sucks; also have a very strange migratory history with Brazil. Brazilian Japanese people comprise a good amount of people in Japanese slums. Silly me for knowing this things; but lets keep it on subject. And no, I would not like to discuss Chinese/Japanese relations.
Define “huge”.
He has a comparatively large penis, I would presume.
Not that I’ve ever seen his.
Yes I am black and the son of engineer, carpenter, and weilder and the nephew of various other blue collar workers. These illegals ruin industries with their shoddy work. Also I run a business mowing lawns and pressure washing houses sidewalks and buildings. My business is completely legal and I have permits to do them. When these inidviduals come here and don’t pay taxes and over saturate my industry with unreasonably low prices and a low standard for labor.
Yeah cause those illegals can’t mow a damn lawn for shit…
No they mow decently but the prices they ask for are ridiculously low.
I feel you.
It’s a messed up situation for everyone.
hahah. no.
the US is probably the most diverse country around, so racial issues are a big deal here, and grab a lot of attention. the US isn’t even close to the most racist country on the planet.
everyone’s focus is on us, though, so our negatives get blown out of proportion. i don’t believe for a second the average american is more racist than the average european or russian or chinese or japanese.
but tell you what. when the russians, or the chinese, or the british, or the italians or the french or the germans or the swiss or the danes elect an ethnic minority as their leader, you let me know.
Racism* isn’t a problem*, only in a country that is extremely racist by nature and culture in my experience.
I think the larger racial, political movements in the U.S. like those in the 60’s play a role. But yeah your right. Japan still openly bans non Japanese people from restaurants and restrooms in many areas.
Haha yes. The U.S. can pretty much go toe to toe with the best of them. The problem is that the labeling of racism and policies that are more or less explicitly racist (seriously, arizona cops are not going to look for a lot of the Chinese illegal immigrants). We have a pretty amazing history of racism; no idea why people fight so hard to ignore it.
Yeah but We due a better job demonizing racism than most places also. People like Limbaugh, Coulter etc still get away with their garbage but usually when your called a racist or known to be such your looked at very negatively and very publicly.
I’m all in favour of immigration, my own parents emigrated to this country. Thing is, they did so legally. They have a right to be here as they went by the books and became citizens. Circumventing the system shouldn’t be allowed for a myriad of reasons. It’s not a “tuk er jbs!” dilemma, it’s just the fact that the law should be respected and enforced. I’m against illegal immigrants but if they gained citizenship and followed the laws of the society which they abandoned their own homes for, I’d be all for them coming over.
you’re an idiot or you’ve never traveled widely outside the US. the reason the US has a ‘history’ with racism is because we actually have different colored people living here. racism isn’t a ‘problem’ in russia because they’re all russians, so that means they’re less racist, right?
idiot or insular, take your pick.
obama is like a living walking breathing proof incarnate that you are literally retarded
I am just going to repeat this one more time and hope people will read this
Getting a working visa is a long and expensive process that most can’t afford, that is why many are risking their lives.
should we just make it free to come here so everyone can afford it? is that what you’re suggesting?
They are risking their lives because there is a better opportunity for them over here period.
I don’t think they come over here strictly to tax the welfare, but that is a benefit they get by being here.
Who here doesn’t think it is a problem?
It is most definitely a problem IMO.
I am talking about legally vs illegally. What I am saying is that the process to cross over legally needs to be reformed. I am assuming no one here is against legal immigration.
If the really wanted to be americans so bad then why not take the correct way to do it .That way the get paid the right wage, and get the benefits that they so desperately wanted.
Did you read any of my posts. Getting a visa and coming here legally is almost impossible for most people. That is what I have been trying to say over and over again.
