I like the Arizona law and that law was made to stop drugs going through and the Mexicans started whining about it and saying it was discrimination but it was made to stop drugs. My parents came here illegal but they worked hard to become a U.S citizen and they pay their taxes so I do not understand why they are not working to become a U.S citizen and learn the language instead of whining about it. its rather simple, the difficulty of the crime does not absolve the crime. aka just because its really hard to break a certain law doesn’t mean that its ok to do so.

Immgration laws are in place to protect the countries that the people are leaving and entering. Do you really think that with all the people fleeing from mexico and the philippines that their countries are going to be surviving much longer? Without people there can be no country, people illegally immigrating from their former country is contributing to their countries decline.
Similarly the illegal immigrants are hurting the country that they’re fleeing to. Avoiding taxes, going on welfare, increasing taxes for everyone else to support them on welfare, taking jobs away from actual americans, thus making those americans depend on welfare and thus further increasing our own taxes. On top of the crimes that some of the illegals perform (which wouldn’t have occured if they stayed in their country), thus stressing our law enforcement/court system even further, thus increasing even more taxes for the rest of us.

I think we can pretty safely assume there won’t be a time when the entire populations of Mexico and/or the Philippines will immigrate to America. Furthermore, those that do make it often are sending back part of the money they make to their family at home, which gets spent in their home country.

Im more concern about legal immigrants that will be harass with this ordeal & how the community will be divided. A immigrant would have to show their papers at all times. We all know how wonderful police officers are, now lets give them even more power to harass minorities legal or illegal…What if some random dude is going for a jog & not carrying his papers? What if laws start telling Immigrants to have papers to just buy something from the store/buy food…

Im still not getting this law, so all it does is to give power to allow people to get deported on the spot. How exactly is this going to help in the long run? Its just going to cost us more to ship them back to mexico & a couple months later they will be trying to get right back in. What we should be doing is get the military involve & guard our homeland borders & not some other countries borders. They need to start punishing business severely that give these illegals jobs.
