You don’t have the right to decide what laws are unjust and whether or not they should be followed. If people were able to do that, laws would be completely useless as they could be ignored by anyone on a whim.

Yes, I have had relatives that were deported and things like that. It kinda sucked because my family fled to the US because their option was to leave Chile, or be killed. So when they got back to Chile the only connections they had were very distant relatives in the far south, or friends who had suffered multiple regime changes and more than one economic disaster.
It wouldn’t be too bad right now though, since Chile seems to be in good shape, minus that earthquake a while back.

It was challenged and the supreme court ruled against it. While the law is what it is you have two options: challenge it the proper way or leave. If you’re in a state that enforces miscegenation you relocate or you fight the law in court. If you don’t agree with the country’s drug laws do you run into city hall and sniff a line? An eightball perhaps?
No, what’s stupid is thinking that anyone and everyone should be allowed in this country without regard which is exactly what you’re advocating. No one believes that the current system is perfect, but with the absence of even a better suggestion you’re stuck with it as the lack of a system is much worse.

You could argue that the support system for jobless Americans is much better than in say, the mexican side of the mexican-american border. I’m fairly certain its much harder to starve in the United States when you become unemployed or don’t have a job to begin with than in many of the countries these people immigrate from.
However, does that mean I support illegals getting jobs over citizens? Not really, but I also think that the issue isn’t as simple as the way you presented it.
Edit: You could also argue that the “hard working american” has more opportunities for legitimate ways of not starving compared to an illegal immigrant, in terms of both relational/family support structures as well as a potentially broader range of employment opportunities (lack of language barrier, probability of higher education or specialized occupational knowledge)
