You’re really not doing yourself any justice, reported.
Yes, you would be totally FUCKING wrong about that.
LMAO! “Reported!” Just like those giant cunts on Xbox Live.
This is the adult world. DEAL WITH IT. Do you call the police every time someone tells you you’re a fucking idiot? Someone insults you, INSULT THEM BACK, YOU FAGGOT. BUT DO NOT file a complaint to the mods like this is god damn Sunday school you sackless little twat lol
You seem like a good guy and stuff but cool it man!
The guy was just saying its easier to win with certain characters… no one’s said its impossible to win with lower tier o.o
And you shouldn’t post online games for proof because you’ll get ridiculed more
Offline games and sets rather than single matches are the best evidence for an argument!
And also yes its mostly the player that’s playing the character rather than the character itself…
Tier lists change all the time. Its all opinion.
If a character gets far in tourneys people realise their potential and tier lists change.
What was Seth till Poongko used him?
I bet if Uryo won EVO, Sakura would move up a lot…
Its undeniable though that certain characters (e.g. Seth/Akuma) have a way, way more easier time and better matchups than say Hakan, T Hawk, Dhalsim etc…
Some of these guys are solid characters but have certain matchups which make it extremely difficult to lose, mainly Dhalsim…
Solid character but if he’s up against a Yun to the level of Kazunoko or a Seth to the level of Poongko then that’s it… there’s very low chance… Unless Dhalsim rushdown (I wish…)
That’s why its better to use a higher tier character.
Its ok to learn and completely master a lower tier one like I’m still doing now and most people in this thread but you’d have a 100x easier time with a higher tier character than with a lower one…
Again, he’s not saying, nor am I saying that you can’t beat higher tier characters with lower ones or do anything with lower.
Just that higher tier have a much, much easier time!
Do you honestly expect someone to take you seirously with your attitude?
Okay, that’s it. I’m outta here. This place is full of tourneyfags.
You may as well tell me I should coat my naked body in tar and use that as a way to save money on clothes before you start telling me this asinine faggot shit.
You idiots seriously DO NOT … get it… do you? lol jeezus
Nice knowing you man.
loljuripinwheelsandelecs
lolonline
You have issues/low tier fetishes/both o_O
Also we all use Sakura and you use Abel…
Sakura’s much worse than Abel overall so if anything you’re the tier whore in this thread o.O
Well, that was an entertaining piece of drama. I never knew being a “tourney fag” could be this fun!

Nice thread, never saw this one before. I found Sakura fairly fun to use on this, and it’s great when you get that momentum, and successful cross-under attempts, but I really found the Ryu match-up a nightmare, either trying to close in, or when she gets knocked down… :shake: Still, she looks pretty sweet in the flower dress DLC, and crouch fierce is kinda funny to stop dead jump-happy Kens. Crouch forward from range into stuff is interesting, but the way the game moves (slowly, with a horrible rocking back and forth judder to it), I don’t seem to be able to utilise it so well. Now if she was in SFIII like this, it would be incredible. In your face rushdown with lethal potential at any point. Maybe if SFIV had been the first Capcom fighter I ever touched, it all might feel a bit more ‘there’. Coming back to me now, I remember her jump fierce is pretty sick, and seems to shoot the stun up, although obviously you can’t see a dizzy bar in this.
Akuma has a teleport.
He’s a popular character (like, duh), and the way he can move around the screen, throwing shit, is a big reason why there’s so many horrendous match-ups in this game. Trust me, I play T. Hawk as well You really will have to wait it out, trying not to drain health getting clipped by all that plasma. When he eventually lands nearby, that’s your shot to land big damage, and f*ck him up bad. If you get a life lead and he has to come to you, suddenly everything changes, as you have an iron-clad air defence, and a good focus on the ground if he’s poking. Any time you see that shit flash, and you’ve got the hit into crumple, immediately dash and do crouch fierce into short tatsu. You can do crouch short into ex tatsu pretty easy off this (3 frames?), and obviously then your follow-ups (Ultra, or ground mix-up).
Having to wait what feels like 10 minutes a match in scenarios like this though, is really what drives me away from the series, as most of the other Cap games I play, you clear the rounds in like 30 seconds or under:nunchuck:VF rounds are like… often the complete opposite end of the pacing spectrum to how so many SFIV fights occur
Yep, I spar with a good Akuma (3200pp last time I checked…) regularly and its so frustrating… I will win like 1/10 matches because he will teleport all day… I did figure him out and started jumping where he teleported and then I was winning half the time for a day but then he switched it up and stopped teleporting or teleported into stupid places like INTO the corner, then demon flipped over me when I got near and then teleported so that he had the full screen to throw fireballs/demon flips and I was all the way in the god damn corner again…
Honestly such bad matches for me so sometimes I switch it up to E Ryu who I only know BASICS (spam fireballs, when I’m near do cr forward, l axe kick/fireball and if it hits FADC hp, mk axe kick, cr lp, l tatsu, shoryuken) and win like half the games… SCREW AKUMA!
I’m not only the worst sakura player but possibly the worst sf4 player.
I’ve played a ton of fighting games for many years, sf2, tekken 3, dead or alive, battle arena toshinden, that wu-tang fighting game (lol) but only since sf4 started getting really serious with them. I’ve played it since release and I play a lot but I’m just completely terrible and dont know why.
I can do sakura’s combos consistently, I know a lot of theory, I’m good at hit confirming etc. but I just lose to the absolutely most basic shit.
I’ll play against a 3000-4000 pp opponent and we have a great and even set, then I go into ranked and get completely owned by a ryu or ken who doesnt even know what a link is and obviously doesnt take the game serious but just beats me with everything he does. after getting hit with ken’s ex tatsu I have like a 0,3% chance of guessing right if the dude will grab or dp. on opponents wakeup I usually just do nothing and stand just outside of throw range so I dont get thrown or dp’d or wakeup ultra’d.
at mid-range I will get counter hit by seemingly random stuff all the time. I get crumpled by level 1 counterhit focus attacks all day.
it’s gotten to the point where I enjoy watching the pro’s play more than actually playing myself, which is kinda sad.
whine over.
lmao
Yup, SFIV online ranked sure is a form of wretched self torture going up against an army of these guys. I don’t think the game would have anywhere near the commercial success it did if Ken and Ryu players couldn’t get away with this sort of nonsense, match after match, giving them the deluded belief they’re actually any good at SF.
The only nonsense about scrubby shotos beating you is your own incapability to adjust. If they’re scrubby, then you should be winning. If not, you’re just as scrubby and you need to improve.
Not trying to offend anyone, but it gets my goat when people complain about “dp spamming kens.” Sure, it’s annoying, but it’s not their fault you’re losing… It’s yours. You won’t get any better by blaming others for your losses.
The example given was the ex tatsu ‘follow-up’ Ken has [online]. If I’m playing Sakura in this, I relish spam happy srks in general, as she is truly the punishment queen. See also the thread title.
