Man, those Ken scrubs are tricky. They’ll mash uppercut all match and then when you’re expecting it, they don’t do it.
well against those i suggest always end combos with moves safe on hit/block, or sometimes just stopping mixup for bait.
Hit them and just block after that.
usually i don’t have much of a problem, but there air tatsu crossup shoryu/throw mixup is pretty good.
What a horrible night. Boot up the ps3 and get to the finals in the first championship go around (feeling good). Then, I proceed to get killed by random shit. Had a gief super me whilst i was OFF the ground. And a Ryu throw me over and over whilst I kept trying to tech. Quit after 4 matches. I don’t get much offline play but is it anywhere as stupid as online play? Being unable to block a hado on reaction sucks.
This is me all day. I’m learning Chun Li now, and I got some things down, start feeling good, then, I lose to dumb random stuff.
Don’t get discouraged like me, just keep at it.
I love going into Rank Matches and blowing off some steam after a few losses, I just go to 2400 BP in Ranked, but I think I should really start playing more Championship to find more players around my range of abilities, but it’s kinda hard to rank up in Championship due to the Ryu/Akuma scrubs populating the G2 area and the netcode not really working in my favor and making me do a lot of stupid mistakes.
Might find better competition on player matches, can you set to to better skill level?
offline play is ridiculously better… online gief can green hand -> SPD… that combos online… it NEVER combos offline and basically means free combo for you… ken’s safe on lp srk spamming online, hes a glutton for punishment offline. theres a reason i never play online mode right before a tourney… and thats because especially on ps3, with green bars, you still have major lag issues
Gotta get some offline play when SSF4 comes out. Hopefully work will permit. Guys with 60K+ points all flowcharting. Sad

So since I don’t win enough in G1 I decided to start a series on beating up on ranked n00bs for revenge for the G1 losses and when I was a nub myself (though I still kinda am…)

Today, I hate; Chun-Li and Blanka. Fudge the both of those fart-knocking chargers. I kicked some Balrog ass, which surprised me, but Blanka and Chun-Li tore me a new one. PROFOUND SCRUBNESS UP IN HERE. No seriously fart the netplay and fart those two. I wish they changed it up (netplay wise) for SSF4. :V
