She doesn’t but the some of Trials expect me to use it which is why I’m finding them so hard. There’s one at the end of Trial 3 and and Trial 4 has one right at the start
make sure youre dashing after the focus attacks… makes everything retarded easy

Umm… if I remember correctly there’s only one trial that asks you to use an EX Focus Attack and it’s only a Lv1 after a s.HK, also believe that needs to be done in the corner.

I wouldn’t get too disheartened, quite a few of those are very good. It’s like playing tennis, not everyone will be good enough to go to Wimbledon, but if you still enjoy playing it at your level then that’s all that matters

My Sakura is on a temporary break from all the punishment she took. Just extended it today. We still have practice on occasion.
My friends? I’m a TERRIBLE Sakura player IMO. Yeah, I can get wins here and there against guys who don’t know how to block an EX Shouken or an Arcing Hurricane into Otoshi combo, but as far as my personal combos are concerned, I am the most basic of basics, and it gets me punished on a daily basis. I absolutely BLOW against anyone that would like to grab me out of a combo (Abel, Zangief, hell even E. Honda), and I can’t figure out for the life of me how to get through that! I’m trying my hardest to stop jumping so much, 'cause that gets me raped by anyone who can pull off an uppercut lol. I will continue to practice until I can get better, and if anyone would like to help me train at ALL, I’d REALLY appreciate it. Hit me up on PSN under DJReimei if you could give me ANY types of pointers that could make me a fraction better than I am. I’ve been playing Sakura since she first appeared in a game lol, but I’ve just begun to take fighting games seriously.

I switched from pad to stick recently and my Sak is just really not coming along at all. It’s like a retarded monkey with broken fingers is trying to mash out some combos, it’s embarassing.
Well, I managed to finally get past the first 3 parts of Sakura’s fourth normal trial but my timing on the super for the fourth part is abysmal so blah
It’s a pretty easy super cancel since the Shou gives you plenty of time to do it, basically as soon as you do the F D DF+HP (or whatever variant) you do QCBx2+K, no waiting around to see if the Shou comes out or whatever.
Blood, sweat and tears I managed to do the combos though I reckon the game went easy on me since the super didn’t fully connect. The trial after that one was stupidly easy. So now on to the hard trials.
I bet half of you Sakura players are just bluffing and are actually one of the best players about…lol
