Heh I think I’m a cut above the afformention “flow” chart sakura butno doubt I’m playing wrong. Regardless of it all Sakura is just plain fun. I main ryu for now in efforts to build up my fundamental understanding how to play this game and sf in general. But dam my urge to pick sakura is too high, just a ton of fun( her and cammy).
There is no wrong way to play Sakura, if you are having fun then you are playing her correctly! it is possible NO ONE plays her as wreckishly as I play her, but it’s fun so I stick to it even after I lose 30 matches in a row :lovin:
If that happens I think it’s as good a proof that God exists

if karin is in that would probably be my second character unless yun is in. then she will be my third
I’m down for that. Make it based off the CFJ version too, or at least having the CFJ tweaks, i.e. the ability to combo off :d: :mk: and counters that are actually useful. Keep her retardedly good s.:hp: from A3 intact. 
I am pretty lousy. I’m not sure what my goal is when i play… i usually try to start a combo with c.mk. Sonic booms and air throws kick my butt pretty bad against guile. I heard i could do some mp+mk to get through them, but i havent had any luck. i always eat them or get air thrown. I SUCK 
edit: well i can get through projectiles, but my timing is bad. at least i got someone to DC against me tonight. it was some sagat player spamming specials without thinking. yay!
Welcome to G1, jeez.
Being ontop of G2 really makes you feel pretty decent, then you reach G1 and just get butt raped over and over. Feels incredible to practice and learn new stuff from good players (finally).

Yesterday i’ve finally reached the g1, it’s hard to beat peaple there xD. I beginnig to learn how to stay on the ground, instead of jumping xD but it’s hard not to do so.
I just love playing Sakura ^^ I think she was the main reason i bought SF IV ^^ But all this time has been very difficult to beat Blanka and Dhalsim u_u

Sakura’s the reason I got SF4 too Luckily for me I got into Dan as well and found a few of the other console characters fun and interesting.
Blanka’s a bitch, be it a scrubby spam fest or a good one, both are a pain to deal with 
Dhalsim matches are so fun though, don’t mind if I lose 'cause it’s always a thinking game more than anything else (for me at least hehe).
Yeah I like playing against Dhalsim. They usually aren’t too tough, but they will surely make you think on your toes.
And I also picked Sakura from the second I got SF4. I played Sak a little bit in the Alpha series, but I liked Guile and Karin better. I still play with other characters in SF4 but I definitely have the most fun with Sakura.
heh its so weird… it must be my play style… id rather vs a blanka than a dhalsim. heh… in fact id rather fight a blanka than a ryu
I like to avoid Blanka.
blanka is the definition of a douche. but my least favorite fight is zangief. why u ask well her it goes. i beast on him, i beast on him again. he neutral jumps in just far enough not to get hit by cr hp and ultra for the win. or i beast i scores one knock down he neutral jump over me i didnt react quick enough that he neutral jumped and ultra. or u try to jump and then he actually attacks. wtf…
Heh Zangief match is often the opposite of a Blanka match, since you’ll be trying to keep Zangief out all the time until you have an opportune moment to strike where getting in on Blanka is a nightmare and he’s keeping you out with his spammy shit
I’d say I’m pretty bad whilst still being good enough to cope. Much as I try I can’t get past Trial 4 and yet I’ve managed to get to G1 and I’m winning more than I’m losing though not significantly more. I’ve fought guys who use Sakura the way she’s supposed to be used i.e. lots of combos and I’ve been beaten like a fool for most of the battles
Just goes to show that a better understanding of the fundamentals will get you further than knowing your combos and execution
I really want her titles and icons though so it’s pretty frustrating
There’s a Trials help thread around here somewhere, Sakura’s are one of the easiest of all the cast members methinks
My main problem is that I’m crap at cancelling my moves with focus attacks. Those are the combos I find hardest and prior to trial 4 I got around it by button mapping
