lol how many people showed up for HDR last week?
im going to be bringing my 360 this saturday. This PS3 standard stuff is bullshit. Alot of us have wii60’s that we play on and have sticks for. So if ppl were complaining last tyme about others using their stick for PS3 then it wont be a problem this tyme. It will be a morphin tyme. Or peanut butter jelly tyme. NBA hang tyme? Anyhoo, i will be bringing a system and kodi will prolly be brining his and a monitor lizard.
There are a lot of people in the area that use 360s. I know of at least 5 that do come to these ranbats that don’t have PS3 capable sticks (yet).
Is there anything we can do about it for this ranbat or should we just rely on borrowing sticks?
Here’s how we did it last time for the BB tournament. The xbox360 can be setup and waiting to use but both players have to be ok with it since PS3 is the default system. I understand the frustration with PS3 only but it has to be that way. It takes longer and there ends up being more conflict when both systems are allowed. So PS3 is used unless both players agree to use the 360. You guys can fight that out when your match is called. If it becomes a problem, we will just do away with it but it seemed to be fine at the last ranbat/tourney.
Well, I’m impressed we’re discussing this now instead if the middle of the tournament like last time. (even tho it was posted a month prior)

HDR + SSBB = no people
I know some people wanted to play HDR but not with SSBB going on in the same room. So next ranbat season I can run it alongside something related. What would the HDR players like to see with HDR next season? I was thinking we’d put it alongside SFIV.
Hyper Fighting/ST in a cab!! Not really with HDR as a ranbat. But I’d be nice to see sometime
Hyper Fighting in a cab is close to happening. I’m getting the kick harness in this week and I’m hoping to have it wired up by the 8-1 tourney. I see no reason it shouldn’t be in that SSF2 cab by the 8-8 ranbat.
I keep getting outbid on the ST boards when they show up. There’s one up now that I’m going for so fingers crossed.

Jesse, as much as I love HDr, it’s just not a game that people specialize in. At lot of people will play it if it’s there, but won’t travel specifically for it. So pairing it with smash is auto fail lol. HDr runs so quick that you could probably slip it in anywhere. A HDr/3s/SFIV Ranbat day would be epic, we’d cover all the SF series.
HDR does run quick enough to where this could be possible. Would require a couple more PS3s, though.

If you’re gonna be at the GGXX/BB ranbats tomorrow i wouldn’t mind getting a marg or two. I don’t play GGXX and I don’t expect to last long in BB.
Since we’re already going to AL tomorrow I planned to enter the BB ranbats. Granted, it’ll be a bit of a learning experience, but it’ll be fun to play some of you guys and actually get to know the SRK community better.
