has anyone gotten this to install on their ps2 HDD. i have an american PS2 and HDD and it just gets to 98% and then just stops. any help would be nice.
I cannot beleive they kept this a secret. Capcom rules. I had to own it before, now I’m actually too excited to wait. Thank you Capcom.
By any chance is the beta version of SFA3 in there? The one where X-Vega jhas the flip kick, V-COdy dodges everything, and X-Honda does huge damage?
Oh Fuck Yeah!!!
Spank you Capcom.
I think us. HDD users are screwed. Similar reports on gamefaqs. Just gonna have to wait for the us. ver. i guess. =(
Even when you get the full game on there it doesn’t boot past the game selection screen. It’s just like darkstalkers collection. I reckon the US version will be the same too. Looks like you’re out of luck unless someone comes up with a patch.
lol at parrying not give meter; what kind of shit is this -_-
you guys are happy with an old game being re-released
alpha 1 2 & 3 on Ps1
alpha 1,2,3 on saturn
alpha 3 on GBA
alpha 3 on DS
alpha 3 on Dreamcast
anyways fighters are very scarse these days so anything will do i guess:sweat:
anybody got more pics or video to share?
The us version will almost certainly not support the official hdd install like the Japanese version of this and the vamp. col. I think the hdd support is what casues the problem. So there is a chance it will work. Either way I’m buying this sucker as soon as it hits our shores.
Honestly I could care less about that its the mixing and adding of ism that got me really really intrested.
The Juni vs Sodom bug doesn’t work.
The Akuma airthrow blug you mentioned didn’t seem to work either.
Dhalsim’s airthrow priority is the same as the arcade, with the massive hit box that stretched under him.
So far the Guard Crush VC’s I’ve tested have done the same Guard Crush that they always have. This includes Dhalsim’s slide–>yoga fire VC, Karin’s DP + K VC, Ryu’s, Akuma’s, and Sakura’s. The only one that I can’t seem to get to work correctly is Karin’s arcade only repeated standing HK Guard Break VC, but I think that’s largely due to me being white.
Rog’s Alpha Counter never did that much damage. I’m pretty sure that was a myth of some sort. It deals 4 points of damage in this version and the arcade version.
This is fucking amazing.
God damn, I am so excited for this game!
Seeing as how none of those are arcade perfect, and these look like they could be (some stuff is still in question), yeah. You could say it’s a big deal.

HOLD ON A SECOND!!!
deejay has an air fireball!? :S
i have a few questions if someone can get them answered.
- whats the difference between A1 and A1 arrange?
- same question, but for A2, A2G, A3
- can someone describe the the new ISMs in detail
- in Hyper Alpha, can you select backgrounds from all alphas
- can someone describe the SF2 ISM
- in marvel ism, can it only be selected by characters who were in marvel or by all characters? if selected by all characters, do they get a move upgrade (like air specials etc etc), to compete with the others?
- how is guile?
any anwers will be greatly appreciated.
potentially this oculd be a real big deal cause it would solve the a3 scene problem.
someone test if the corner throw glitch works
with v nash.
ps1 version if u did the punch air throw durring a shadow hitting it would throw and the oponent would not be able to air tech the throw like normal. it would also cause the corner juggle counter to max out and not let u do any more hits.
some test this on the ‘arcade’ version
Could someone run down ALL the versions of all of the games because I’m a little bit confused as to how many versions there are.
Balrog’s Alpha Counter damage changed depending on the version, or so I heard.
Does crouch canceling work in both Arranged mode and Hyper SFA?
No. He was talking about the regular fireball, that’s it’s name.
Gamespot mentioned a world tour mode in the preview they posted today.
Uhoh…did Capcom America fuck up the US version? PLEASE GOD NO…
