Don’t you mean SFAE?
Ryu from MvC had dive kick so Capcom didn’t really draw anything new just ripping sprites from other CPS2 games.
The Chun Li pic shows a ‘new’ normal punch.
CCC had Street Fighter Deluxe, a versus-only mode where you could mix and match fighters from WW, CE and HF. Arrange is starting to sound a lot like this, only better.
Another Questions about this picture:
in XvSF when we are blocking an attack and if we press 3xP we push away the attacker away, doesnt this looks like kinda the same more?

It looks like Cammy was hiting Balrog while he was blocking and he pushed away Cammy like we do in XvSF when we are blocking an attack and we press 3xP (I know that this sounds dumb… but could it be something like this on the picture?) :wonder:
btw: if Capcom really makes a cross over of all Alpha games in the same game then this Alpha game needs to be in every tournament around the world :lovin:
I already saw this picture 10 times and I keep watching it until someone comes with more news about this Alpha crossover deal: http://www.capcom.co.jp/sfz_fg/screen/zero3_09.jpg
Hmm… I have both CCC and SFAE but I never played CCC much… Is SF Deluxe basically a stripped down version of Hyper Street Fighter 2?
Even ignoring that, it’s still just a simple headswap from Akuma’s sprite to Ryu’s.
Yeah, I guess you could call it that. HSF minus the SSFs, or something like that.
Well, if the picture’s indeed from the Arrange mode then maybe it’s a property of his Ism. I can’t imagine them just randomly sticking Push Block in there, the changes would be too dramatic to make for a new release of an old game.
Default new -isms, with all teh alpha characters would be nice… I just hope it’s not something like “world tour” custom-ism.
Saikyo Defence!!
The advancing guard shown in the Cammy vs. Balrog(boxer) is the saikyo defence first shown in the SFA3. It was a type of guard meter/fighting style developed supposedly by Dan Hibiki to push back his opponent. I figure that this system will work well, as seen on the home version of SFA3 on PS1. Basically, it should be nothing new.
Akuma sprites aren’t just a headswap, really. Torn sleeves and different arms. It’s probably just from MVC1, but I haven’t seen that move in forever, so I can’t say for certain.

Sirlin, I have huge respect for you and Capcom. But the above is a little counter-intuitive.
I buy games because they are good, not just because they are made by Capcom. I’m willing to support Capcom if they continue to make good games.
Capcom Fighting Jam. Need I say more? If a game like that sells poorly, does that mean Capcom sit back and think “Hrm, the fans aren’t interested in Street Fighter any more, so we’ll just stop making fighting games”? I hope not. I hope there is some sort of feedback that hits the upper ranks, and informs the people responsible that while we as the SRK public love fighting games, we don’t love them blindly. They still need to be GOOD.
AE sold well because it was good. It could have been botched up big time, but it wasn’t. Had the production team botched it up, I pray that they are willing to point the finger internally rather than blaming market trends.
I guess my point is that I don’t buy games just because they have the Capcom or SF logo on them. I buy them if they are good ports. I’m sure you understand that, which is why I wonder a little why posts like “buy things that have SF on them”. I will “buy things that have SF on them” if and only if those things are made well.
Again, no disrespect to you. You don’t know how glad I am to be able to talk directly to a member of a production team, and see people like yourself actively communicating with the fan base at ground zero. And more importantly, to see people like you giving a shit and working damned hard to make good/arcade-perfect ports. I just hope that the message makes it higher up the corporate ladder too.
Obviously by the look of the screenshots

I’m gonna throw out some guesses about what the isms are gonna be.
Z-ism
X-ism
V-ism
SFZ-ism
SFZ2-ism
Classic-ism: Same as SFZ3
Shadowloo/Boss-ism: in Z,X,and V-ism versions indicated by colour, that exchange Alphacounters and/or airblocking for parry or pushback abilties, perhaps even other things as well? But have to get 100% bar to use super or VC, but Z version still gets to use all supers available to the character. Although judging by the backgrounds, it might be a dramatic/world tour CPU only thing??? But since there are no scores listed above, I’m guessing its probably 2 player.
Mazi
Saikyo
Anyway just throwing stuff out there, might end up getting laughed at afterward though ha!
holy shit! parrying!? in alpha!? im in!!!
i just hope they add all the home characters as well as maki, eagle, kyosuke, yun etc etc ni the arranged version, that would be sweet. also (and this is pushing it) some third strike characters like dudley and alex would be awesome!
Not going to happen. At all.

can anyone recommend a good place to import this from?
http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-40-49-en-15-street%2Bfighter%2Bzero-70-19ne.html
It’s cheaper to get it from Play-Asia than Lik-Sang.
Thanks!
Now to get some magic key things for my ps2
A3 Arrage is adding so much stuff that it’s turning into a ghetto A4.
