The comments are trite and the more I see complaints about Lost the more I want to like this movie to distance myself from those who hate it so much.
Not likely. Weyland states at one point that he was gonna die in a matter of days anyway, so it wouldn’t make a ton of sense for David to get himself murked just to quicken the process. He prolly just told dude that they were from Earth, and he was like “oh yeah, that reminds me…”.

I pretty much echo Movie Bob’s sentiments regarding Prometheus. Good, not great.
Also, I’m seriously laughing at how passionate some of you are getting over your hatred of this movie (“like this movie if you must” was probably the most priceless thing I read in this entire thread). You’re allowed to not like the film and there are, of course, a number of legitimate complaints that can be leveled at it. But please, stop acting as if those who happen to think that the positives outweighed the negatives (as I do) are committing some grave injustice simply by not hating something as inconsequential as a fucking movie.
