He said there might be 2 androids in the movie. From the trailer it makes sense to see that one guy jumping on someone, could be of the androids
There are androids in the movie? Has me worried it could be trying to follow aliens footsteps too much… (but its a prequel so it technically can’t :o… head explodes)
You have to remember that at one time the androids had an uprising of some sort it was loosely brought up in a couple of the movies.
What OZ said. It’s a thought-provoking existential story, that’s basically it. If anyone calls BR the GOAT it’s because of the production design. The detail put into every shot and every prop is mind-blowing. At the same time, the detail of the fully realized city kind of works against against the story’s favor, since there are so many wide shots of the scenery instead of staying locked on the main characters and main plot.
It’s not the greatest sci-fi work ever but it’s been hugely influential in film and elsewhere. BR (and other stuff like the Neuromancer novel) has become the archetype for cyberpunk, dystopia and sci-fi noir.
On that note I’m out this spoilerific thread.
PS. If you didn’t know already, Android OS and Nexus smartphones are named after BR (android was the book’s term for replicant).

After watching that last trailer, I’ve only just noticed how tall she is compared to some of the others, she also man handles one of the male characters. So I’m now at the conclusion she is the other android. It makes perfect sense actually that she would be the android since she is the one set to oversee everything.

2012 is going to be a great move year but nothing besides maybe TDKR has me as hyped.
