My dad is really into the Alien Saga. He actually got a little hyped when he saw the trailers. 2012 is shaping up to be something good
Yeah, this is the first year in a while where there are a SHIT TON of movies I wanna see in theatres. Fuck my wallet is going to hurt this year, lol.
Anywho, according to a new interview with Ridley, he’s still fighting to keep a ton of shit in, in order to hit PG-13. It’s not even blood he’s fighting over, either. I still worry that although this movie will be good, the directors cut is what we’re all going to be waiting for.
Also known as the Unrated Edition LOL. So is this a prequel to Alien or is it a sidestory that takes place before the movie that explains the space jockey among other things?
At first I was like, cool, a new Alien movie. (like, Aliens and AVP stuff)
Then i was like, oh, it a movie about aliens, (like avatar or some shit)
Now, im stoked to see its actually IS ABOUT ALIENS ALIENS! 
Avengers will be a torrent download at best. I’d rather go see Wrath of the titans than Avengers. Yes, I think it’s gonna be that mediocre
Can’t deny I’m really hype for this movie. Grew up reading AVP comics, and needless to say…we’re due for a good alien movie.

Isn’t Ridley talking about doing a Blade Runner follow up now? Sure he isn’t happy when McG:rofl: keeps saying he wants to do a more faithful adaptation of Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep.
Unless it’s like some sort of “beta version” of the xenomorphs, there is no way that is a facehugger tail. Facehugger tails are not smooth, slimy, and organic looking; they are covered with ridges and segmented plating.
Also, I’m not sure if you guys noticed or have brought it up before, but the weird “screams/howls” that you hear in the Prometheus trailers were also in the Alien trailer. Pretty neat.
Could be a facehugger before it’s adopted the space jockey’s DNA traits…same way Facehuggers in the Alien flicks adopt human traits…
Will see this. Hope they don’t fuck it up though. I wouldn’t read too much into the tail though.
That could be true. Guess we’ll find out eventually. However, whatever that thing is, it’s slipping into the suits the human cast is wearing.
