The EX version of Knee is fast but it’s possible that it still doesn’t have any invincibility on it (or if it does, it only covers the start-up or something).
I’ll check it’s invincibility as well as the armor frames on his other moves when I get back home.
I feel like Karin shits over Alex, insanely. Her st.mk beats his pokes clean, you can’t retaliate from her upkicks and she can walk in and out of your range as she pleases.
Hardest match I’ve had, I can’t beat Karin as Alex to save my life.
FLying cross chop is garbage and is not worth the risk. It seems as if it is -20 on block or something and 40 frames on whiff lol. Might as well use a j.rh.
It’s good as an air-to-air but it has a pretty strict height restriction so you’ll be hit before you get a chance to activate it. Overall I consider it a dead move, maybe it has utility as a form of fireball punish or something.
Still has some REALLY bad match-ups IMO, like I feel an argument for 6-4s will be apparent with some characters. And I don’t think a 7-3 exists yet.
Some more notes -
use j.mp as your jump in…his fierces are slow and have awkward hitboxes, j.mp will actually hit a crouching character.
st.mp > st.mp is a 4f gap which is fantastic, but all you can get after a second st.mp on hit is cr.mp so remember that, you can always throw out a chop after the second st.mp regardless as it’s gonna be a safe distancing.
buffering st.mp and st.lk in neutral with EX chops is great, stops people throwing out mid-range buttons and walking up on you.
EX headbutt can punish certain fireballs almost fullscreen, EX stomp feels slightly slower?
Hey, guys. I know most of you already finished Alex trials with not so much trouble, but I’ve recorded a video for his trials and I’ve included some tips I’ve come across while doing so.
There is one that helps on canceling St.lk into Flash Chop, wich is pretty good! Take a look:
