From what I hear: ST Vega (i’ve played ST but not seriously) is sweep, c. mp, and crazy barcelona traps. Plus an amazing, ridiculous throw game.
Yuppers, add a nasty meaty wake up game, lightning fast meter building, great fast high priority jump ins and shazzam, HDR Vega. (oh and a fake dive too)

That would be the ideal setup, that raises the issue of how many people actually have a PS2 stick though? I still have my T5 Hori, but that puppy is on its last legs lol. But! If someone wants to bring a PS2 setup, and it can sqeeze in next to my rig (Oh, BTW, Shiro, confirmed, I am getting a 22" Dynex LCD 720p TV/Monitor, no input lag) and a display for it, I will happily host that shit up, I can bring the Alphas for shits n giggles if that happens. And if someone can bring said setup, CVS 2 would kick a little ass too…
Oh, and does anyone here know of a local source for parts? I wouldent mind dropping a new stick/buttons into meh old T5 Hori, anyone know of such a hook up?
Hey we need some more info on the 5 vs 5. I don’t think we will have a team if all characters have to be different. Also r we doing the 5 vs 5 on Sat? Do we play Saskatoon too?
the 5 on 5 is completely up to you guys. I am only hosting this. but it would be more interesting if we didn’t have like one team with 5 ryus vs one team with 5 sagats lol

I don’t know man this is looking pretty grim for side tourneys with the low input of tvs and monitors. There’s no way you can run that many side tourneys on top of the main tourney with just 8 tv’s or less. It might be necessary to cancel one or two of them or at least make them responsible for bringing in the necessary equipment to run them.
wha? theres 6 setups going to be there for sf4 2 for tekken which makes 8 tv’s theres 11 tv’s in total. thats 5 extra tv’s of course the side events are for the people who want them to run them. audio is running hdr blaze. owen is running mvc2 I am running tvc and sf4 kyle is runing tekken 6. paul is helping run sf4 as well.
I should note that there wi;; also be 2 setups for tvc with 1 extra tvc/.
ot to mention gordan will have a sf4/tvc setup on stage as well. i don’t see what the problem is, but your more than welcome to help out
Sask is down for the 5 vs 5 with ed but I would need to confirm with people about the 5 vs 5 with calgary. It would be good to get some details though on who would be interested in the cal 5 vs 5?
we don’t have a definitive top 5 at this moment.

Oh btw Idk how many of you will care for this but I talked to a rep at “rockstar” i asked them to come down to the tournament but it doesnt look like they are too interested. Insted they are going to be giving me shirts , posters and stuff like that for the tournament. If they happen to give me drinks I’ll be giving them out to people to drink during the tournament (for free obviously)
So i’ll keep my fingers crossed that these guys pull threw

Yo shiro i can bring a laptop with a sf4 on it and it should run fine. So thats an extra sf4 setup if you need to free up a TV for a side tourney or something.
