Akuma fixes in SFIV DAsh!

if Akuma had KKZ, would it do one hit or multiple hits? I say this because i never played third Strike so don’t know if it’s a multiple hitting strike… if of course it is it means it is more potenet for air combos (Tatsu -> Shoryu -> KKZ) where as if it hit only once the combo layed out earlier wouldn’t be possible (& whether they wanted you to be capable of hitting it after a light Tatsu would be down to them i guess, but unlikely)

the thought of Akuma having an Ultra that could be utilized within combos… Is a somewhat sobering thought.

BTW I would like a faster recovery time on the f.hk(roundhouse kick)…

far roundhouse on block is +0 frame advantage meaning youre free to go/continue. 2nd kick may whiff though, usually why he can be punished.

Akuma doesn’t need any fixing…if anything, he needs a bit of tweaking.

Akumas just gonna be even more beastly. His second ultra should be the Elbow drop shin Akuma had in Cvs2. Think about it, its cool, it does massive damage, its gonna be hard to connect, and its unique (ryu already has a super fireball and supposedly sakura does now too). I can see S tier in this update since Sagats prolly gettin nerfed lol.

Well if there’s gonna be double ultras maybe up his stamina a tad? Other than that dont think he needs much, a lowish dmg combo’able ultra or super would be nice i guess.

Hey I’m up for a combo> ultra but if you think about it wouldn’t that make him S tier? I mean even just the way he is you can make a argument that he’s the 2nd strongest(some people would argue that he’s OP) character in SFIV.

You guys asking for more health are bugging. That along with a lack of a comboable Ultra are what’s keeping Akuma down to the earth. Yall want him banned? Yall want a bunch of nooblets using him just because he’s good? Akuma is underused compared to other top tiers(and even characters below him like Rufus and Balrog) because of his difficulty to use which stems a lot from his lack of an ability to make more than one or two mistakes. SF4 Akuma is by far my favorite version of the character, and there’s not much I want to fix. A comboable ultra would be cool, but not at the expense of his other tools please.

I agree with his second ultra being a massive chip damage air fireball or a shoryu reppa like Ultra.

Why are we bugging??? He deserves more health even if it’s just 5% more he still deserves it not to mention Akuma in all reality isn’t complete because he isn’t “Shin Akuma”. If Capcom is going to tweak and balance all the other characters then why not add a little health to Akuma? you made no sense:shake:

Also with all the new upgrades and tweaks I still would bet money that Akuma will still be use just like he is now. People will still use Ryu, Sagat, Rog, Bison, Rufus and not to mention the other 8 total characters more than Akuma even if you add more health & a combo able Ultra.

The current health makes sense, less the other 900 life characters feel hard done by. 850 is the traditional figure for the character.

With new characters and ultras and various other tweaks all coming about at once, there’s no way to anticipate how the characters will stack up in tiers for the next game.
