At :50 you dash kick straight into CoD >.> I didn’t even think that was possible lol.
Standing close medium kick looks exactly the same as step kick and can cancel into CoD
a close standing mk is cancellable into specials but not dash cancelllable.

cr.foward cancells into COD, dosent it? not an abel expert here, i dabble a bit, but id imagine you could just buffer the COD into the cr.mk, the same way ryu can buffer a FB into his cr.mk. if you do it fast enough, with ryu at least, the FB only comes out on hit. if it whiffs, you just get a cr.mk

Have been doing this recently and it works pretty well, also gives you enough time to FADC on reaction on hit or block

nice matches, some real nail biters. EX COD seemed to work a lot. It’s rough when she can get a big combo off of like any low hit and she seems to have a pretty good mix up game. only good sakura I’ve ever seen TBH. she has the Cr. fierce of justice that never seems to get beat as well.
Good stuff, just do some more tick throws in general. The sakura wasn’t jumping/Back dashing out after F.mk.

My lil bro mains Ryu’s Sak I learned that the hard way.
I was going to suggest you use j.fp a bit more, but you seemed to get it near the end. Your opponent was good at abusing hopping like a bunny whenever you got close, which can be hard to counter when you are set on trying to setup tick TT. Gotta change gears and go for hits and j.fp, which I think you did a good job of adjusting to as the matches went on.

In one of the videos… did i see that correctly and it was F-MK -> cr.lk -> st.fp xx CoD ? Maybe it was CH, but cr.lk does not link from a non CT f-MK.
