I record vids because sometimes im just too damn bored(plus i was using my friend’s camera, ive returned it so no more videos for now lol except the trf’s) and maybe by posting my vids i can get a few comments/pointers from better players(of course there’re gonna be stupid comments by others too but i can just ignore that), maybe things ive missed/never thought about etc. the love/hate thing is all part of the deal lol i wont take any of them seriously.
also, i myself can watch the vid later and maybe come up with better ways to deal things. (though i delete most of the vids after i uploaded them, only those that i have problems that i usually keep)

probably not, ive had some people even challenge me because they think there abels are better than mine. you know what? maybe it is but i mean ive had a LOT of people do that. abel mirrors dont prove anything since they are really dumb to play. ill post a video here and there every once in awhile but not like how i used to. i mean there are lots of good abel players out there, hav is pretty good so is o rico suave o. he is pretty good but called me out on xbl out of nowhere heh. dont think im trying to declare im the best abel or try to get e-fame. ignore my sig, thats an inside joke with some of my friends but some people have took it seriously and tried to prove something to me. im all for friendly games but some of the challenges i have got are taken way too seriously. im sorry but i dont really take online serious. enough derailing post some vids for everyone to watch.
lol busta, just ignore that shit. maybe when i get my own camera i’ll sort my vids by matchups so whenever someone gonna ask questions(like how to deal with this that), i can proly attach related vids along with the suggested solutions, doesnt matter if i win or lose in that match, as long as i can help.

I just find that, especially since SF4 came out, dickriding is at an all-time high. I get IM’s from RANDOMS all the time (like… if I don’t at least recognize you from the forums… don’t IM me…). Ever since I showed up in a couple Gootecks videos from times he came East, fucks I’ve never seen in my life come up to me like they know me… it’s… disturbing. And in one of the videos of me that got posted, when I hit the super, you can hear somebody yell “Happy Birthday!”. I’m still not sure what the hell that means, but I’m pretty sure that’s some West Coast shit that somebody bit from a vid. Niggas out here talking about “Abel Technology” and shit… Fuck the flow, they’re jacking the slang…

I can comprehend that. The first thing people do is become FANATICS about the first player they see that they think plays really well(Not saying he’s bad because he is really good, but Daigo fanboys anyone?). They actually skip the BEAT them stage in the If-you-can’t-beat-em-join-em process. Some people take it as flattery, some don’t.
It would be nice if you posted more videos though, we kinda need some more Abel players spreading technique through SHOWING and not just typing out the answers. A lot of people learn through seeing things done, rather than reading about them. Just ignore the praise and try to focus on spreading the Abel knowledge and helping push the community further.
since it seems you guys might learn more stuff from my vids w/e ill record/upload a few casual online matches. HAV i think we are all getting that, you know how many people fucking im me on aim?!? lol and on top of that they look at my videos and find my GT and add me with stupid messages? here is one i got no joke “you are god please add me to friends” HAHA fucking dumb im not even that good imho. i dont like having people i dont know on my friends list so if anyone of you guys are reading this and i reject you sorry but i dont like having more people i dont know on my friends list than my friends that i actually play with.

I record crap matches all the time. My friends like to get on and watch them. We should be supporting the Abel character as a whole, and not trying to see who has a better one.
About the e-fame. Why are people getting so worked up over it? In anything, someone with a high degree of skill is going to gain fans and haters. One thing I’ll never understand is the hate for Daigo. The guy just plays a videogame as best he can and stays quiet whether he wins or loses. He doesn’t act like Justin Wong who appears to think he’s hot shit and smack talk because he’s good at a videogame. Just my 2 cents on that subject.
Hopefully we see more good abels release vids. When I’m bored at work, it gives me something interesting to watch and can learn new tricks from the vids. If players like HAV don’t wanna go through the trouble of recording his matches, that’s fine. That’s his perogative.
However, Busta, you’re being a little harsh. You accepted donations of money to buy the 360 you’re playing on. What if one of these “randoms” you reject as a friend on xbl are one of the guys who donated to you? Not trying to call you out or anything, but you shouldn’t forget about the kind things these “randoms” have done for you.
Personally I’ve appreciated vids from all the tourney players in this thread, even their XBL casuals and whatnot. I have a lot of trouble getting out to the local scene here and playing dudes in perso, so my game doesn’t get much levelling up and videos help me to see new strats in action.
So I’d rather see more videos, but I understand that there are people online that are really annoying and it’s easy for them to find your info and bug the shit out of you. Lots of kids out there looking for e-friends and role models, I guess. Not everyone wants to be Gootecks, I know, but I just hope you guys realize your vids are helpful, even if you’re feeling humble about them.
Thats true. On lordaborgine’s youtube page some of his TRF matches have players with no name but a good amount of BP. People just compare the BP to the listings in Japan and STILL try to find out who it is. Its ridiculous.
people post videos for the community or for feedback/criticism on what they are doing wrong and how they can improve, i doubt people do it for e-fame. If you find a good abel video, just post it here, people appreciate it…

ive tried contacting the people that donated. im still waiting for a few responses but they stil ldont respond. and you know how many people donated? like 6 and half didnt seem to have a 360 either way. my brother was the one who bought me the console but i couldnt have done it without the donators so thanks. i still owe my bro a lot of money. i do accept randoms but it really depends on my mood now. i mean if you look at my friends list there are more “randoms” than friends of mine which is why i really just try to not add so many people i dont know. which is why my GT isnt public but people watched my videos and just found my GT there (i was dumb and didnt think about that when uploading videos hah) trust me though i knew this was coming but i mean i CONSTANTLY get messages and im not really used to this so its kinda annoying.
