Honestly, there aren’t a shitload of Abel videos out there in my opinion (compared to other characters, that is). My Abel is probably nowhere near the level here on SRK but if I can learn something from a video (or have a good laugh), then be it Busta, HAV or random generic kid from the block. Heck, I’ll watch it. I guess it’s the same as random sports team who get famous whether or not they want to.

Kraiden you need to punish cammy more with your TT it seems like you dont use that enough on that battle. if she uppercuts dash forward and TT. if she does her canon drill simpy block and TT throw. Shes very punishable if she just spam those moves out. Vega when he does those wall jumps you gotta jump and hit immediately as he is coming towards you. You have plenty of options neutral jump hp, hk, or mp or jump back and same thing. Focus attack also helps you against vega air born attacks. If vega love to flip and you have ultra if timed right you can get him also. You need to work on defense more and mixing things up. Know your TT properties and use them right you need work on that also. Block those cross overs and if you know they are going to do another attack use Ex tornado throw. If you have problems on cross overs just back dash it.
TT after a Cannon Drill is only a good idea if it was close. From far she has frame advantage.
Dash and TT after Cannon Spike isn’t bad, but if you can’t pull that off, CoD will hit her as well. Or Ultra if you’ve got it.
“A LOT” of cammy players will get “close” as they canon drill and it also depends how you space yourself as you fight. But punish her hard and if she learned her lesson you can start applying pressure on her. Yes if she canon drills and is to far away they usually canon spike like retards. Then dash and TT. If she tries to ultra “chip” or special just back dash if you have the stamina to survive it.
If Cammy does Ultra from any sort of a distance and without any setup, you can neural jump and she will go right under you.

All in all I liked them Kevko but that Akuma player was laughably bad.
Also, when Cammy does full screen hooligan you can wheel kick it on reaction no problem. Would have won the match that way.
But all in all you seem like a solid Abel player to me.
Thanks Moopie. To be fair to the akuma player, he doesn’t even have the game, and he’s improved so much since I played him 2 weeks ago. He also managed to land raging demon on me 4 times that night, even though I think I’m good enough to avoid it easily. He just managed to throw it out at great times when I wasn’t expecting it and I was busy either focus attacking or rolling.

Weak bladder? I have no idea. hahaha. I think he was just getting up to chat with some of the other players. We play in a diner that has loud music blasting the whole time, so you gotta get up close to chat.
last week TRF’s, my match starts at 15:25… I did bad. Especially the first round…
I watched that Vega vs. Sagat match waiting for yours to load. That seriously has to be 7-3 for Sagat, Vega is hopefully outgunned in that fight… yours was alright.
I can’t offer much advice on the match up aside from you could maybe throw out some jab Falling Skies to build meter while Rog is turtling… also I’ve never found much of a use for wheel kicks in that match unless you have Rog trapped in the corner and have baited & punished headbutt a few times. His jab is just too good and he’s too mobile to throw them out since he has an easy time beating them. EX especially from long distance is a waste of meter. I try to stick to bulldogging in that one since forward dashes are easy for him to sweep since it has crazy range and speed.
nice, thanks for the feed. yeah i need to build meter with that jab falling skies, i also need to cut the random FA (i dunno why i did that), it was like the first round i wasnt prepared/warmed up at all. also i did some stupid errors like jumping lp while actually wanted to do a j.mk crossup…
anyway yeah, that sagat vs claw match was painful to watch, that sagat was played by a girl btw if im not mistaken.

and about tt cammys cannon spike. cannon spike is NOT 100% counterable. as you can see by the clip its not that Im just a common moron and cant counter… its that I was trying to tornado throw and she was cannon spikeing me out of it.
if they do the cannon drill DEEP, then you can TT. but if its shallow you will get cannon spiked in the chin.
