gj havoc but at times when you know the cross up is going to hit you should follow up with a bigger combo instead of cr.lp’s and lk’s. other than that good stuff.
The “guy in the fitted” is me. The Korean guy next to me is Eric Kim. This was in VA Beach.

that happens to me all the time. really i dont like sitting in the arcade or w/e you are playing for such long hours. sbo quals was pretty bad too, it took forever to play my matches. before my match against watts/sin my partner was sleeping and i was half asleep too
Working for a lan center for a long time and running many tournaments myself (not SF4 but for the person running the tournament they might as well all be the same game) I can’t explain just how hard it is to get a tourney to run smoothly enough for the players to not all get tired waiting around.
When a tournament runs smoothly and quickly it’s a special thing.
oh i know, sometimes i help run the tournaments at denjin and from my personal experience tournaments will always have something go wrong. ive only played at ai/denjin tournaments since im still actally pretty new to the scene. bigger tournaments run for a long time and since there are so many people its hard to keep it smooth (from my experience) so i understand and its not me bashing that the tournaments are too long. i just get tired thats all plus my sleeping habits now are terrible since ive been on summer break for awhile. sbo quals = 3 hours of sleep prior heh.

One thing I don’t see you do very often is the the s.mp link after confirming a deep cross up mk into c.lk,c.lp x 2. In fact, I don’t see people use it much at all, instead preferring to s.lk then try a f+mk blockstring. I guess the payoff is higher…

Well, I’m originally from NY, and I’m a tournament player, so I play all up and down the East Coast.
And, no, I’m not gonna start recording matches. I really don’t want the e-fame.
lol if you are referring to me i dont want the e-fame either. the reason i started recording my casual xbl matches were because i was sick of all these terrible abel players on xbl. my original plan/my hopes were that abel players would watch and maybe learn something and use it in their game plan. not everyone sucked but trust me i havep layed enough garbage abel players on xbl and i hate when players dont know how to use the character or just do stupid shit that never works. i stopped making these vids because i got a lot of fan / hate mail and i dont want my nuts to be hugged or have enemies. i mean those videos are complete garbage and people think its amazing. im not player good players nor do i really even think i am good. i dont care if im good or not since im playing this for fun. its pretty stupid and i knew it would come down to that but i did it anyways hoping some of the shittier abel players would learn something. if you are not referring to me than woops, i wanted to get this out anyways somehow sooner or later and this was just a good excuse to get it out.
